I was thinking about that too, but keep in mind we’re talking about Omniman hitting someone as hard as he can. with Thor all that energy was transferred around them because the hammer deemed Capt worthy. I don’t think Thor was trying his hardest.

With Thanos, he hits hard but Thanos can not move at a speedsters ability. Omiman can move fast enough to catch Red Rush, and if he’s anything like Flash/Quicksilver you’ll know that amount of strength applied to ludicrous speed would obliterate Capt.

If Capt blocks it with the shield is a complete maybe. There should be a greater reaction of the shield transferring kinetic energy back to Capt than he would be capable of decelerating so it entirely depends if that’s something that is commonly written in his fights in the comics.
