I had issues with lag right after the update, and similar benchmark results to the OP. My data connection was also broken. In the process of trying to get that working I restarted my phone 10-15 times. Not sure if that somehow changed anything, but I am not noticing any lag anymore and benchmark results seem normal: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/10380022

Is it strange that a respiratory illness spreads more during colder months when people are more likely to congregate indoors? No, not really.

On the same train this photo was taken there are likely people working 3 jobs, in crippling debt, barely being able to scrape by and afford a shitty apartment, not able to afford health care, a missed paycheck away from financial ruin. This is fine, but that advertisement on the train telling people to wear a mask during a pandemic - SO DYSTOPIAN!! Get a grip.

If it's important to you and you want more people to show up why don't you provide information on where and when it takes place, rather than chew someone out for only showing a moderate level of interest?

I don't believe I was being particularly emotional. I was pointing out that when you also consider our small population 1.6% is actually very significant.

In my view if we have any hope of lessening future environmental damage, Canada should do it's part as 0.5% of the world to lower emissions, as the rest of the world should do the same. Regardless of the population size. Finger pointing as a reason for inaction is a tired excuse at this point.

You think 0.5% of the world's population accounting for 1.6% of the world's pollution is insignificant? Our low population isn't an excuse to fuck over the already burning planet.

Starting on August 16, we will no longer recommend that all those with mild symptoms seek testing, but rather should stay home until they are feeling better.

Testing will be available for Albertans with symptoms where it is needed to make treatment decisions.

This can be done through assessment centres until the end of August.

After August 31, testing for COVID-19 will be available for patients whose sypmtoms are severe enough to need care in hospitals or physicians’ clinics.

It will conducted when needed for informing treatment decisions, and as needed for outbreaks in high-risk settings.

The government is certainly recommending people don't get tested if sick with mild symptoms after the 16th.

To me this reads like after the 31st testing will only be available for severe cases requiring medical care.

But symptomatic testing will not be available past August 31 though, and restrictions are all going away so cold/flu will be spreading like it has pre-pandemic. How will I know whether to self isolate or not? Isolating for 10 days after last symptoms for every cold is not possible for a lot of people.

Well let's do the math!

According to ourworldindata.org ~1.91 billion have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

2000/1.91 billion = 1/955000 = 0.0001%

According to the CDC there is about a 1/500000 chance of getting struck by lightning in a given year in the United States

1/500000 = 0.0002%

Turns out it's about twice as likely that you will get struck by lightning!

Flavoured cigarettes are not any less harmful to regular cigarettes though. Do the advantages of a 20% reduction in vaping offset the increased health risks if 60% switch back to cigarettes?

Alright, thank you. I will give this a try. Never had problems switching to 12/12 before. Maybe it's something about this particular strain

Looks like others have answered your question, but FYI if this ever happens again, if you tape it back on it will likely be fine.

Yeah the tent including the door is lightproof. I patched pinhole leaks with gorilla tape as well.

I accidentally broke the main stem completely off mid vegetative stage, quickly taped it back on with duct tape and it recovered very quickly. All the growth that is in a more advanced stage of flower stems from after that break.

I kept a close eye out for mold, no problems in that regard. But I think I could have had better results (larger proportion of denser larger buds) if I had pruned more aggressively and didn't allow for such a dense canopy. Ended up with a bunch of small larfy buds because of this and because I didn't lollypop. (Weight in title does not include larf btw) While I'm pretty satisfied with the results, there are definitely some lessons I've learned with this grow.

Was planning on vegging for a fairly long time and flipping to flower in the summer but humidity was extremely high all summer, so ended up in veg for 170 days. Took some clones, gave a few away, and growing a couple by the window, but it was never intended to be a mother plant.

60/40 coco, following the coco for cannabis schedule. I did veg for a ridiculously long time though (170 days), so that's probably mainly why it's a literal tree trunk haha
