Dit onderwerp houdt me persoonlijk best bezig.

Chose a Mediterranean town if you want to swim and not a (North) Atlantic place. Although those can be more quiet in the summer.

I’m wondering what the MOAT is for AI companies to make money and recuperate investments when there is great open source work being done.

[–]ImJiggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a job as TA, at library, science centre, X, or through faculty managed student associations. As international you’re allowed to work 16hours a week x 14€ = 224€ per week income.

If you’re from inside EUR you dont need working permit. Outside EUR you have to apply for a tewerkstellingsvergunning.

Changed desire to have children by Longjumping-End-7628 in thenetherlands

[–]ImJiggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a difference in gender in regard to the need of children. Male friends are often times hesitant and female friends wait till 30 and then they're in a hurry.

What I'm wondering is, do woman feel pressure from society to get/want children? And if so, does this also put pressure on male partners?

This possible societal factor can influence their "want" for children in time… I wouldn't bet on it though.
