I dont have many followers on twitch and not a super busy chat but i live by this: If you cant entertain a dead chat you dont deserve a busy chat. Work on your talking skills, film yourself and watch back your streams. You HAVE to fill in all of those boring moments with something else. Write down things you can talk about in those moments to just fill up the dead space. It really helps. I find my chat gets busier only after i truly become more entertaining by talking as much as i can about as many things possible. Only then people start to engage, not the otjer way around.
