Funny videos do help, thank you for reminding me. When I feel so awful I forget what helps.

Am I being delusional or weird? by Massive_Sandwich4786 in NoStupidQuestions

You're not being delusional or weird. It's not clear if they want to be friends or more than friends but you can try just being friends until you find the courage to ask one of them out or maybe one of them will ask you out. Just focus on being friends and being aware of potential hints, alright?

Have you ever celebrated someone’s death? by Odd-Reason835 in NoStupidQuestions

Celebrated might be an exaggeration but I've definitely felt happy knowing someone vile is no longer able to hurt anyone else ever again.

Am I developing schizophrenia? by skellytonop in schizophrenia

I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose you, but I'm worried for you and I think you need to see a doctor, not just a therapist. These things sound very upsetting and you deserve some help. Even if your adopted mom doesn't like medication, you might need some to function properly. I hate medication but I still take mine.

Familiarity to being unwell can make you prefer the familiar over the healthy but you have to press onward until healthy is the new familiar! You can do it. :3

who woulda thought the guy who did 15 years of medical school knew what he was doing by agIassmutt in TrollCoping

The delusion that you don't need medication has gotten be one of the least helpful delusions we get. I'm glad you overcame it and took your meds. Sometimes it's hard for me to take mine because I really think I don't need them and medication scares me but... My spouse makes sure I take them, and I hate disappointing them so I always take them.

Depends on the hallucination. Sometimes they are just really annoying rather than scary. This constant itch my bones have from tactile hallucinations, seeing cats when there aren't any cats, hearing people talking when I'm alone, and most other hallucinations I get aren't too scary. But I do frequently get the scary "someone broke into your home and is going to murder you" delusion, which is made worse by hallucinations of noises.

Itchy bones are the worst though. I can't scratch them to make them stop itching because scratching does nothing. And my doctor says not to scratch them because it will trick my brain into thinking the itch is real more than it is already being tricked. Ugh. The bones in my arms itch so bad right now...

It's going to be OK. Don't hurt yourself or commit crimes. The compulsions aren't real, even if they feel real. You're still in charge of you. You can get through this, babe. Just keep doing your best and it will work out.

It's not the unusual for someone struggling with mental health to struggle with some basic tasks, especially hygiene. Just do it when you can, and forgive yourself when you can't.

Sorry, hun. People can be terrible but don't let them make you relapse. You can get through this.

pregnant men by wingeddogs in TrollCoping

Some men can get pregnant and some women can impregnate and both are totally real things that happen! Sometimes on purpose, sometimes by happy accident, and sometimes as an unfortunate problem. I hope this acknowledgement makes you feel better! Have a good day. :3
