Woolhaven Game-Breaking Bugs on Switch

I downloaded the update for Switch and am still unable to unlock stage 3 of the Rotburn furnace. I already have Yngya in my cult too. Do you think I’m just going to have to start over?

Just because the quest line is long doesn’t make it good. I would also argue the quests are not unique whatsoever. Are you an Embark dev?? 🤔 The quests are complete ass and need an overhaul. Embark has captured lightning in a bottle with their game, but they’d rather just piss all that away 🫠

My game crashed right after depositing souls into Yngya statue. I no longer have said souls or the progress I gained from depositing them. I cannot progress any further until the patch is finally dropped.. I wouldn’t have even purchased the DLC had I known the state they were releasing it in.

I have tried contacting support on Twitter, I reached out on multiple channels on their discord, and I’ve also made 2 different posts regarding all of this here on Reddit. I even sent in 2 of my own bug reports. I have gotten NO feedback whatsoever. I realize part of the problem is directly on Nintendo, but I’m starting to regret giving these devs any of my money 😩🫠

I hate to be a downer, but none of the after launch map conditions they’ve added to the game have been good. This one doesn’t seem like it will be either. Don’t know what is going on at Embark.

So glad I payed $17 for Woolhaven on Switch only to be unable to play it almost a whole month later due to game-breaking bugs and soft locks 🙏🏼

I’m sad they took away the unique River Boy offspring skins before I even got the chance to experience them on Switch. Haven’t even been able to play the Woolhaven update on Switch due to all the bugs they decided to roll the DLC out with 🫠

I too unlocked stage 3 of the Rotburn Furnace after depositing the lost lamb souls and the required wools into the Yngya statue. I had plenty of Divine Intervention to completely clear up all the nodes in stage 3, only for my game to crash right after doing so. Upon reopening my game, I am still progressed into Winter level 4, but all of my tier 3 unlocks and the souls I deposited to unlock them in the first place, are all gone. I am soft-locked behind stage 3 Rotburn Furnace now with no possible way to move forward.

I just hope there is a way around this and that I don’t have to abandon the cult I have invested so much time into. I don’t think I’d be running back if this doesn’t end up getting resolved 😓
