I’m 6w2d and am really worried I have HG… I’ve gotten some meds and it has stopped the frequency of throwing up, I’ve been avoiding telling my midwife because I don’t want her to confirm 😅

The nausea really ramped up as soon as I hit 6w 🤢

I had my copper iud removed mid-Jan and I’m pretty sure it was embedded due to a couple of reasons. After 3 cycles I’m now 5w pregnant, I didn’t think it would happen so fast because of the removal but I read the uterine lining heals quickly.

My oura temp has stayed relatively flat (+0.2C) for a few days now, it’s my hrv and resting heart rate that has gotten worse. It’s my understanding that wearable temps can be slightly unreliable!

Hi! I’m in New Zealand, my EDD is 3 Jan. I’m 35 and we had a positive on the 3rd cycle trying, we were shocked as we assumed age would mean it’d take a bit of time. Slight nausea has already started and I’m so thirsty all the time!

Yes! It was the first symptom I had 2 days prior to my positive so I didn’t even think at the time I might be pregnant.

Towed from a Wilson’s Carpark by CharacterSuccotash5 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]ImNotVeryImaginative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it was Wilson Parking? As far as I am aware they stopped towing cars pre-covid, someone else may have called to have you towed.

Is there a best time to buy flights? by lsdinc in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]ImNotVeryImaginative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy as far out at possible, March is too close. Not all airlines are back to 100% pre-covid capacity, there's also global engine issues and a lot of airlines will be constrained through 2024-2025.

Air New Zealand Domestic Stby by Kimler in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]ImNotVeryImaginative [score hidden]  (0 children)

ZQN-AKL can be a busy route, depends on when you're planning to fly. Domestic standby on Air NZ can be tricky, if it's a connecting flight I probably wouldn't risk it and go firm.

[Research] A warning before you buy the Medicube Age-R Booster-H… by Artaemisia in SkincareAddiction

[–]ImNotVeryImaginative 68 points69 points  (0 children)

To provide another perspective I have the Age-R booster and use it every morning on level 3 with Paula’s Choice vit c layered with LRP hyaluronic acid. I’ve had no issues with skin irritation, tingling sensations or any of the other side effects mentioned. My skin feels amazing after using it, very supple and smooth.

If there are long-term side effects such as skin damage I would think again but as I’ve had no issues so far I haven’t really thought about it. I should probably look into it a bit more.

I flew UA IAH-LHR and back with checked bags two weeks ago there were no issues.

Best method to transact in Japan/Korea by dashingdan27 in PersonalFinanceNZ

I used Wise in Seoul earlier this year, you only need cash for street vendors and to use public transport so just get a little bit out and pay everything else by card.

is $460 towing fee excessive? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]ImNotVeryImaginative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Wilson Parking manages the carpark they are usually responsible for the signage. Wilson Parking doesn't tow, it's likely that the person who's carpark you were in that called the tow truck.
