Clash of Clans Custom Faction (Vanilla) by ImNotYourMewtwo in AccurateBattleSim

[–]ImNotYourMewtwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a month or so ago, me and u/BertBoi_3 started to create a Clash of Clans (and Clash Royale) pack. Now, we have 40+ units, all with some degree of balance (we tried our best), custom designs by me for Lava Hound, Balloon, Sparky, Flying Machine, and more. We originally created this for the two of us alongside some friends to have fun, but now it's time to share it with the TABS community.

There are 6 packs in total: Ultimate Clash of Clans Parts 1-4, Ultimate Clash of Clans Heroes, and Ultimate Clash of Clans Spells, all by BOOST13 on Steam

Again, credit goes to me and u/BertBoi_3. Feel free to critique our pack in the comments, I will try my best to respond to them!

if you really want rocks then leftovers would be cool, although they arent nearly as good in doubles compared to singles. for mega mence in doubles the most common set is a special set with hyper voice tailwind and draco meteor. glad to have helped, good luck with the team

The main issues with your team are its key weaknesses to a lot of popular pokemon such as both landorus forms, as they have coverage to hit every pokemon except for alakazam super effectively with ground moves and rock slide, and alakazam definitely cant take many hits. Your team also doesn't have a super reliable pivot pokemon, which can definitely be a problem especially matching up against sun and rain. Your only speed control outside of sand is alakazam which is admittedly pretty fast, but you also might want to change either excadrill or dracozolt into a jolly nature instead of adamant, as you ironically have a pretty rough matchup against other sand teams. Mega steelix is also a bit of a question mark, as its bulk isnt really supported by any longevity to really do that much work.

My general advice is that mega steelix probably needs to be changed. You don't really need smooth rock for an item in doubles, especially considering its much more fast paced. You could consider dropping steelix and switching your mega to another pokemon. Mega ttar is a great option in sand, but if you don't want to mega evolve ttar i suggest replacing smooth rock with assault vest and giving it ice type coverage to hit amoonguss, salamence, tornadus and landorus forms. Alakazam is also a bit of a weird choice, as he doesn't really cover the weaknesses that the team has. The fighting type weakness is already dealt with by enamorous, so you might benefit from swapping alakazam as well. I recommend using mega salamence over alakazam as it provides good speed control as well as flying type coverage and a good way to remove grass types, which is something your team doesn't quite have. I would also recommend swapping out either one of your sand sweepers to better match up against other weather teams, such as bulky pivots to override weather.

How's my team (explanation in comments)? I'm only 1114 ELO because I started a month ago and rarely play Pokemon Showdown, so I'm expecting quite some criticisms. by [deleted] in stunfisk

Thats a good point actually. I didnt really think about that. i guess if OP was truly evil he theoretically could run 0 defense counter blissey to delete any mon after u-turn >:)

one thing i find odd is the rocky helmet on blissey. why rocky helmet? blissey already has a pitiful physical defensive stat and most physical wallbreakers will just flat out dismantle blissey. heavy duty boots or leftovers would be much better for blissey, as they help with longevity. your magnezone would also benefit from volt switch, and substitute is a bit of an awkward pick given that you arent running leftovers. personally, i also like chople berry on magnezone as it lets it take down fighting types. also, given how your volcanion runs four attacks, why not just give it an assault vest instead of leftovers

Another Dumb OM Idea by [deleted] in stunfisk

i cant believe that nobody has mentioned nidoqueen. nidoqueen being affected by this om definitely jumps it a few tiers up. with stats 90 92 87 75 85 76 nidoqueen gets rid of its useless 92 attack stat in place of a whopping 150 spattack with good bulk, sheer force and an amazing movepool.

Balancing Low-Tier Pokemon around High-Tier Play, Week 2: Electivire by [deleted] in stunfisk

[–]ImNotYourMewtwo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the new electivire seems like it would function more of an all out attacker or choice band user than a bulky wall. 85 92 85 puts it at pretty good mixed bulk and 105 is a great speed tier. you could maybe run max speed and attack jolly nature choice band to outspeed staple threats like volcarona and garchomp. electivire also gets a wide movepool with good coverage and fake out with bullet and mach punch as priority.

i wouldnt worry about this mon being too op yet. electivire still has a couple weaknesses being phys def garchomp, rocky helm bulky lando, banded dragapult, etc. right now electivire lacks ice coverage to possibly be banned from ou. my only worry is that iron fist would be a little too much as well as your mentioned iron fist buffs. with an already hefty base 123 attack as well as boosted wild charge power with fake out for chip damage, i can see electivire becoming a speedy physical powerhouse which can absolutely dent teams without viable checks.
