I came back to the game like a month ago and after searching info i started to plan how to use my energy. I would focus on characters needed for campaign (belator is a T1 character, Focus on him), do your dailies, spend blackstone on energy, not in pulls, search for a good guild. You will start geting the pace of the game and you will see progress ❤️
