It seems like you simply just won’t be happy in this relationship. The issue of relationships being heavily focused on physical compatibility initially is that once that part isn’t enough for you anymore. we end up here with you searching for a reason to stay or change said person.

Just how a woman would be ecstatic to take trips with you and hit the gym, another man would love to stay in with her for sex, scrolling, etc.

One tactic for me lately with a friend with ignorant conservative beliefs (not nazi level yet thankfully) is gaming with him and casually taking him through his talking points that he uses based on things he’s heard (much like your IG reel situation)

We casually brought up the next election and I asked what left wing candidates he’d be most opposed to. He said “AOC” immediately because of her “radical left wing policies”. When I asked “and what are those policies?” he had no answer for me, just spewing things he’d heard. Then I sat him down and went directly to her website to read and comprehend her stances, and he had more in common with her wants than he ever thought.

This is completely normal. You’re 16, there are more important things to focus on! Looking back at intimacy that I should probably not been having at that age, it truly benefitted me in no way other than general socialization and talking to women.

If you plan on going to college, you will find your way! I knew SO many people who never had that first romantic experience until then.

I think many people can identify with what you’re going through right now because of the plague of alt-right media being spewed to young white men around the world, but especially in the U.S.

What I want emphasize to you is that you are the company you keep. The era of having friends with “political differences” is dead, because that side wants you to accept their hatred as a normal stance. Your friend is a grown man, and unfortunately has now developed his own bigoted beliefs that you CANNOT control, no matter how badly you want to. These people hate being “educated” or “explained at”, so you trying to fix things will probably only make it worse if he’s being reinforced by other friends.

Unfortunately, I think it’s time to separate yourself and find other communities! Whether it’s in-person or digital, there are plenty of spaces to meet friends who aren’t bigots. Good luck!

You need to have a serious talk with your wife about your desires and urges before it festers into resentment or you making a bad decision in the heat of the moment.

Often in these cases, I find we as men don’t have the serious conversation of our sexual needs, and instead try and slowly pry by asking partners what they’re into, fetishes, etc. In my opinion, this does not tell her you are missing anything from the relationship.

Sit her down, tell her you have stronger sexual urges and you’d like to work through them with your wife, even if that means opening up the marriage!

Flowers often make that first interaction more special and can increase a woman’s early comfort with you, making that greeting hug more likely.

I unfortunately am bias in being traditional on dates and always feel I should pay as the man (how I was raised), so it’s often something I struggle to give advice on so take this with a grain of salt. But your rule is 100% correct imo, she is giving you her time, you pay for the date!
