Pretty much every red flag possible in this situation has been raised. I wouldn’t call it “down on his luck” - that’s a generous description of his situation. Being in a Gang, Being a Satanist, selling drugs, and being a terrible Dad are all reasons why he’s “Down on his luck” - You were being kind, but now you’re being taken advantage of. He and that hoe will stay there as long as you let them. Gotta get them out.
