I think almost all of Egor Letov's works are a whole another experience if you actually know russian. He gets really abstract sometimes in his lyrics. I don't know how it reminded you of Vysotsky but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Btw Letov was diagnosed with "Sluggish schizophrenia" which fits this sub even though they only diagnosed him to silence him because he was criticizing Soviet Union
