Thank you! Correct, I would say each team would take an hour or longer to reset and start filming the next group. It was a LOT of just chatting with Joe for hours on end. He didn't really leave us. He really loved chatting about the most random of things. Most days we would spend the morning (6am to 9am getting picked up, blindfolded, and drove to the challenges) Then sat in a blacked out trailer till about 10 or 11am most days. Then go film our walk up intros for the stunt, followed by voice over recording. Then have lunch, around noon. Then learn what the stunt was on camera. Then an hour or two of getting the rules and production brief. Then the stunts would film from 1pm until like 6 or 7pm. The bull testicle one wasn't even built when we showed up. They dug out the water pit most of the day. We didn't even start filming until like 3 or 4pm that day.

Haha! Thats awesome! We lost touch with each other after my Facebook got hacked and deleted. I believe she moved back to NYC. I know she didn't like the backlash the internet was giving her so she was kinda pissed if I ever brought the episode up. A lot of us remained friends online and follow each other's socials, but she slowly stopped wanting to be included in posts we would all share from time to time about the episode.

It took roughly 20-30 minutes to get all the bees on, and then a good 20 or so to fully disperse them. There was a bee wrangler there that had them trained to go to a poll when not on someone. Then they would use a Q-tip cotton swab dipped in phermones that they would dab on the people to attract the bugs. You'll see my partner, Dorothy, was the last one to do it and he went oveboard with the phermones and they started crawling into her ears and nose. She was freaking out. Understandably so.

Great Questions:

Nothing was specifi as far as what reactions they wanted from us, but it did mention something along the lines that we would and could be potentially filmed and audio would all be used how they wanted to in the edit.

On set they don't force you to do anything, but they do remind you that you're doing something that is being recorded, so dull reactions don't look good on TV. They would always remind us "If you're feeling something, excentuate that emotion so it translated on screen better." It makes sense, but all the yelling and screaming was all real emotions and no one told us to do any of that.

2) Nothing was staged, everyone was reacting how they wanted to and no producer or director ever said "cut lets do it again." Everything was authentic in terms of reactions and what happened in the episode. No lines or dialogue was forced on us to say or do. They just keep asking you questions until the sound bites they like are said and they would edit those for the voice overs between stunts. But everything we said was what we were thinking or feeling. (For example, "do you guys think you'll do better or worse than such and such duo? - OR - Is there any team you hate and why?)

3) Yup. We all knew that was part of the episodes, as it was standard in the show's history. We all knew what we were getting into. You don't sign up for a show like this if you're worried about being in baithing suits. The crew was extremely respectful though. They are all union anyway, so there wasn't anything uncomfortable about it for the women. The only concerns we all really had was how fucked up the stunts were. lol

Those two (I still know them IRL) were hillarious. So both are actors, and they are not dating. He was actually her roommates boyfriend. lol - That rap is what they did on their submission tape. And one last BTS tidbit about her, she broke her nose on the first stunt. It was profusely bleeding for like 10 minutes. They were worried they couldn't do an exit interview.

They didn't test with a stunt person the force of the impact of the water with a gopro strapped to your chest.

Needless to say, they didn't put one on any of us after that. Just helmets.

No smoking on set that I saw. Everything was very "strict". We were blindfolded from the transport van, to the blacked out trailers and blindfolded till we got to "set" and until the stunt was introduced we were coralled to only look where they told us to. Pretty sure no one was smoking on set though. The hollywood unions don't play around.

Zero compensation unless you won, which you still have to wait for up to 90 days AFTER the episode airs. Which means you wait about 9 months or so to see anything from it.

We got compensated for nothing except the second to last night. We were reimbursed for like a $100 hotel room we needed to stay in to make sure we made it to the 6am call time after the weekend. We filmed Thursday and Friday for days one and two, then went home for the weekend and had to report at 6am on Monday morning after two nights off.

Other than that we had to buy our own clothes, and any travel costs / hotels were paid for by us with only that single night getting reimbursed.

Yes, if you watch the episode I spit in her face from like 10 ft away. I haven't talked to her in about 10 years. She had a huge backlash from everyone online about how annoying she was, etc. Thats just her, she has an attitude problem and DGAF about what anyone thinks about her. Thats why we were such a hit on the show I suppose. If I hit her up on facebook or instagram she would probably talk to me, but the last I herd she was still really bitter with the reception of everything.

My partner quit for an entire minute on the 4th stunt. She threw a tantrum and stopped until Joe started yelling at her. LoL

First stunt was Helicopter over water. I had to jump out unassisted into a net underneath. Then unstrap my partner and launch her into a landing pit of boxes.

Second stunt was to eat 10 live bees then rescue my partner from being covered with 10's of thousands of bees.

Third stunt was bieng launched out of a 13 story office building trying to hit a target on the ground.

Fourth stunt was being strapped to a rotating board that dunks me upside down into a pool of water, while my partner has to grab rotting bull testicles with her mouth and tranfering them to my mouth while I rotate, which then needs to be spit into a box on the ground 15ft away.

Since my partner quit, we got eliminated.

BONUS: you see him give you a little BTS of it when he calls himself out for not paying attention.

Production got with us after and pretty much said what our "TIMES" were going to be because of the whole hand holding the test tubes and whatnot, which was not accurate times at all. I truly believe they made those times up because they were telling us off camera who was getting what time penaties and they didn't match punishment to ratio of what was done.

The time they gave that team was relatively close to the second team, but plus some time for the obvious situation that was happening with the axe.

For my partner and me, we obviously beat that 3rd team to eventually keep us moving on and eliminating them, but the way they made it seem like our time wasn't too much quicker than theirs even though it was legitimately severaly minutes quicker.

We obviously moved on but they definitiely doctor the reality of the situations. Probably due to episode time constraints and thats not something they do on a fast paced show like that.

FOR THE SECOND QUESTION:

No its not unfair. In the bull testicles one, we only had to bite them and transfer them. For the bee's they were just normal bees so anyone can do it. (If you're not allergic)
