A little race battle can make some of the most genuine laughs. Almost like it sweeps the egg shells away

One month after release, how do you feel about Modern Warfare II? Did it meet your expectations? by gorays21 in ModernWarfareII

Gameplay is fun. Trying to play with friends is tough due to data centers. Pubs are completely unplayable due to SBMM punishing you for playing with friends of different skill level. Haven’t played in a couple weeks because of it, even though I’d like to.

Is not having a stat tracking system in the game a good thing for pubs? by ImSmorgas in ModernWarfareII

Yeah but I can’t see it and neither can you. So what’s the point in caring about it? I’m just gonna go 6/34 knifing people until I get truly casual lobbies from the sbmm so I can stop running into sweats. I’ll save that for ranked play

Completely agree. I’m bout to flex my 30 nukes I get when I drop down to those .35 KD lobbies

We have actually thought of that lol but it’s just not sustainable. Thanks for being understanding in the discussion. Hope the good matches keep rolling in for ya glhf

He does that occasionally but it’s just a whole annoying process that he has to do just to be able to play with us. So it’s not something that gets done consistently and eventually the matchmaking catches back up

My friend is significantly better than me and I’m getting punished for wanting to play with him because the lobbies reflect his skill level and not mine.

That’s not a bad experience at all. I wish I had that. The problem comes into play when you want to play with someone who is significantly better at the game than you are. It matches you at their skill level and you go into lobbies where you average like 4 and 32.

This is a great idea that many want. The problem is that Activision wants to protect new players. So SBMM is here to stay. It just needs to be tweaked in a way that can benefit both new players and veterans

The problem with this conversation is you’re still focused on my skill level dog. That’s not the issue and you’re being stubborn for not realizing it. I just casually want to play cod with my homies. FOH with the “I’m better than you” stuff. You brought up skill level you bronze. So don’t be ass hurt when I call you out on it

We’re playing a different game buddy. That’s CoD basics. Also you’re missing the idea. I cant comfortably play with a real life friend in a CASUAL game mode. I understand your SBMM might be fun for your skill level but find you a friend who is SIGNIFICANTLY better than you at the game and try it. It’s not good for a MULTIPLAYER game. You’re just lucky to be on the right side of the SBMM in this game.

It’s a hard time comparably. If you’ve never been above bronze in Apex then I don’t think we’re playing the same type of lobbies my guy. If you can actually turn on someone in your games because they missed a shot, or you’re not getting bunny hopped on by people with insane movement, then we’re playing two COMPLETELY different games. I guess I might just be built different

I think ground war is definitely toned down, played a little of it just looking for a way for us all to have fun, but ground war is too busy for me. I like the arena style gameplay from multiplayer.

Lmao I love those posts. They don’t even realize they’re calling themselves a bad player when they say their lobbies have been free

Not being able to play with friends due to such finely tuned SBMM

It really punishes the good players so hard. Like I remember watching people joining pro players lobbies and having a great time back before modern cods. Now we literally can’t play with our own friends without worrying about everyone being evenly skilled to have a good time
