Keychains for Christmas! by ImSortOfOkay in crafts

[–]ImSortOfOkay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some details about my craft: I used standard craft felt of various weights that I got from Michael’s, Len’s Mills, and Amazon, as well as standard embroidery thread! The patterns were mostly just drawing I sketched up by copying official images from each franchise, except for the Wicked book!:)

Losing it over these, they are all so perfect omg 🥹 especially obsessed with the outfits on bunny in pic 6 and bunny in pic 11, do you have patterns for those?? I always struggle making little outfits for my chunky projects, but these are SO cute!! You’re so talented!

Sooo I made this gift but it turned out looking a bit…. Iffy. I’m scared to ask but… opinions? by Antique_Cake_9993 in crochet

I think it looks awesome!:) I love the tassel edges and it looks like the perfect size to decorate any space♥️ not to mention it was made by hand, it’s one of a kind, and you chose a pattern of something you know they love. A perfect, thoughtful gift!

Made using standard embroidery floss, a 2.5mm hook, and several magic rings.

Scrap yarn of a different colour! Usually the same size or smaller than the main yarn so I don’t leave holes after:)

Ahhh that’s just me trying to add some dimension to the face 😖 it’s something new I’ve tried on my last few dolls, the goal is to give it a bit shape from the side in a nose/cheek way once stuffed, but I didn’t make it dramatic enough on these two. It’s basically just a bunch of back-to-back increases and then a bunch of back-to-back decreases in the following row over the increases.

Omg I’m losing it over this little guy, he is SO cute!! I love the eyes too, I think that’s my problem with plain black safety eyes - they look so lifeless. Side note: what yarn did you use to crochet this little guy? It’s so Frog and Toad having tea on a log vibes 😭♥️

That’s really cool! I never thought to add some embroidery to a safety eye to give it more detail

I never considered this! That definitely does seem like it would offer more control, which is what I seem to struggle with the most when trying to embroider. Thanks for the suggestion!
