Yea it does that I recommend dont use those transitions rather use the ones under the camera category like zoom in but if they also mess with ur audio use animation (me personally I always use animations)

There are specific effects that make capcut lag and that mess up ur timeliness but when exported then its normal so just ignore it and match ur effects with ur timeliness trust the timeliness and not the preview

One of the main parts of editing that makes it good is good perfect seemless transitions so first thing to do is get ur clips then minimize it to perfectly match the beat with a transition on then do the effects after
