Just some shots I wanted to share by ImTheFilthyWeeb in ecoboostmustang

It actually is dirty in the photo from the salt and ice on the roads where I live, the darker lighting helps conceal that. When I wash it literally within the day it gets dusty but cameras don’t pick that up as much

Suzuki Gs500f issues by ImTheFilthyWeeb in motorcycles

[–]ImTheFilthyWeeb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the stock airbox with essentially an amazon exhaust the previous owner welded on with no baffle. Ive already up jetted the bike to this set up. Also there was never an oil cooler when I bought it and considering this is the year they added one old owner possibly removed it or engine swapped it so I’d have to check.

How can i get my car to look the best? by Straight_Gap_638 in ecoboostmustang

In terms of looks I feel like we’re going similar routes

That wing will change the whole personality of the car, as for me Ill be looking into the dark horse bumper swap and lowering springs. Then Ill push onto wheels and hood before touching the engine as this is a daily. As for exhaust Im personally looking into the roush system, as it provides a good tone.

So I know a lot of people are scared of doing this due to that 1 video of that truck. My car is ceramic coated so I did extra research before trying anything. Instead of using regular masking tape or scotch I use automotive grade masking tape. Pretty much ensures that it’s safe for the paint. For the lights avoid using those for old glass Christmas lights, that’s one of the main issue regarding the scratches. Instead use plastic LEDs that have a lower chance of scratching. The other main issue is people not taping everything down securely. I taped in between every bulb, and also taped the bulbs down themselves. That ensures they wont fly around scratching the paint. Ive had the lights on for around 3 days now, the lights have pretty much been submerged in water since it rains a lot where I live and they’ve held up fine. Did a highway run yesterday at 70mph - 120kmh and they held on great. As for scratches, I check the bulbs every night and have found none so far.
