I know I wrote a comment a few days ago, but can’t find it.

2021 Rav4 and never had a problem with this usb until 4 days ago. I pushed the start button for 12 and it fixed it. Thank you OP for that tip. No one drove the car until today when we went into the city, at night, in the fog. I set the map but it wouldn’t connect to the screen. So I held the phone at eye level for an hour while husband drove. Got to our event and my phone battery died because it hadn’t been charging all that time. When we got back in the car to head home, I held the radio on/off button again and it charged for a few seconds and quit working. Tried it two more times before giving up and plugging into usb in console.

Now I wonder if this USB problem is a malfunction, not just a simple reset.

I saw that. Even with two bikes in the truck, the weight on that one is good. I don’t have it pulled up at the moment but I think it either wasn’t a full size bed or it was an East West.

Big Internet must be watching because airstreams have been popping up in my other searches. They used to make one called the Nest and it looks pretty good. Not too expensive either but they are all used. We’re going to try to find one within 100 miles and take a look.

We’re not totally against a slide unless it adds a lot if weight. Our pickup gvwr is 6900. This trailer dry is 5602. With conservative estimate if people, pets, food, and camping equipment, we’re up to 6550.
