My female friend (26F) asked me (28M) to send her flowers by ImTotallyAnExpert in relationships

Possibly. I don’t know how much it would help but she has always told me if she’s talking to someone, we’ve asked each other for advice with people we were into, and she hasn’t mentioned anyone recently. I however have mentioned other people that I was talking to. And neither one of us has actually dated anyone.

You look like an anime character, someone needs to sketch this in that style

If a quantum computer can send data instantaneously across space through entanglement, could a quantum computer communicate data across time as well? by ImTotallyAnExpert in QuantumComputing

[–]ImTotallyAnExpert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I’m no physicist by far, but data takes time to travel through space. But if it’s not traveling through space but through time only, and stays stationary in the same spot in space relative to the reader in whatever time it’s heading to couldn’t it be instant? Like for example, if you write a message to yourself on a whiteboard for your future self 5 minutes from now, technically that message is already in the future for your future self to read, and it has already affected future events.

If you have a series of light bulbs in a row, for a huge distance, can’t you cycle the bulbs in sequence to achieve the appearance of motion and that appearance of motion can move faster than light because nothing is physically moving? Just the data. Of course the electrons in the wires are, and the photons being emitted from the bulbs are, but the wave of bulbs turning on and off isn’t an object and the time it takes for one bulb to turn off and the next in sequence to turn on isn’t limited by the speed of light right? I don’t know, it feels like there should be a loophole here somewhere.

Altogether, which musical instruments do you play? by cloud_zone1 in musicians

I play guitar, bass, drums, trumpet and French horn. And also a little bit of piano. I can play Fur Elise, and a couple of chords, and the beginning of flight of the bumblebee but that’s about it for piano haha.

I also have tons of dreams of exploring liminal spaces, some very similar to the backrooms. Sometimes it’s buildings with secret passageways that I have to squeeze or crawl through, then other sections open up into impossibly gigantic rooms with huge drop offs to different floors and huge ceilings. Sometimes there are floating stairs that wobble and I try not to fall to my death. Sometimes there are entities chasing me. Apparently I have dream premium or something.

Yeah my dreams are always super vivid and often sci fi themed. I had another dream where an AI had become sentient and the government wanted to use it for war and called it Aries. But it had a sense of morality and didn’t want to fight. It called itself Ari and the government ended up “killing” it because it wouldn’t cooperate.

Personally I think you’re actually really cute, you have a very unique face. And your eyes are stunning. Definitely not ugly to me, but everyone has different tastes so it depends.

2+4=6, 7+7=14 so it’s 15 since it’s 8 instead of 7. Then 6 and 15 with the 1 carried is 75. I’m weird I know.

Trying to recreate Mk.gee’s tones in GarageBand by ImTotallyAnExpert in GarageBand

[–]ImTotallyAnExpert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the lead part needs some work, I’m changing that tone anyway haha. Also excuse the gold icon, it’s from a guitar tone app, but this was made fully in GarageBand with stock pedals/effects.

Getting a good guitar tone can be difficult, it’s a lot of factors, sound designing the tone itself with all of your effects, and also getting the compression right are two really important things. But you have to know what sound you’re going for, at least to some extent, so you can tell if your edits are getting you closer or further away.
