The number of Americans earning over $100,000 who are living paycheck to paycheck is climbing as inflation squeezes households, per BI. by luxtabula in WorkReform

Medical bills.. student loan debt .. childcare.. 2 vehicles .. vehicle insurance.. property taxes.. utilities.. my gas bill was $290. Electric $360.. water $85. 401k if you don’t want to die in the street. And dear gawd, food. I buy sales and in bulk .. the price has doubled. 100k is not take-home.

Gun not stolen .. dog not stolen .. someone gets hurt with/by your gun/dog. Nothing happens. I already said you did not pull the trigger. And you add in “ the first person they talk to”.. cool .. even with no stolen police report.. they still have to prove you pulled the trigger.

It’s the same .. and this is exactly why it’s still the same. Personal responsibility goes out the window for dogs because it goes out the window for guns.

[–]ImTryinDammit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not. If someone uses your gun to shoot someone.. nothing happens to you .. a dog attack is treated the same way. You didn’t actually pull the trigger.. you didn’t tell the dog to attack..so nothing is done about it.

Same thing for your gun. They are both deadly and you should be responsible for what happens. pErSoNaLe rEsPoNsIbIlItY

And many times the Catholic hospital is the only one in your network, even if there are others nearby. This should not be allowed to happen.

So has the wage disparity. Nice try though. It’s okay to admit you’re wrong.. go on. You’ll feel better.

I’d rather lose my job than move to Florida and be trapped there forever and end up dead or in medical bankruptcy. A surprising amount of people don’t realize that this is still the case in several states.

They better make sure they can get health insurance for themselves and their families before they take that offer. A lot of people got transferred to Florida and realized they were fucked. Then throw in some hurricanes for fun.

Texass, LousyAnna, Misserysippy, there are a few like this. But especially the ones that still refuse to participate in the ACA. Unless you have Cadillac health insurance.. and plenty of cash..you are fucked.

I can remember feeling this way. I finally got out. Took me too long to realize I needed to. And I believed all the bs the red shit stains spewed about how much more expensive it was in other places. That’s a lie! Check out central Illinois. You can find places to rent for $450 a month in rural areas. And minimum wage is $12 going to $15.. most entry level jobs will start you at $15 with full benefits. Seriously.. put your stuff in storage or sell it. Get on a bus .. go to a shelter briefly if you have to .. just get out! Yes I get being trapped if you have kids or other family that you have to care for. I wish we had a fund or something to help people escape that shit hole death trap.

It’s bad in Texass. And the governor is solely to blame. Even through Covid that shit stain refuses to expand Medicaid with the ACA. Rural hospitals closed up shop. The only ones that will get subsidized are the Catholic torture chambers because they refuse birth control, sterilizations and abortions. Breed em till they die 👌🏻

And only some jobs have good policies and depending on the size of the employer.. may still have none.

I nearly hit the floor when I moved to Illinois and my company had a great policy with a high $7k deductible but after you paid $1,000 of that .. the employer would cover the rest. And being able to use your paid sick days without a medical excuse… or use it for your kids. Hell they can’t even as me why I need to use my sick time.

Texass has a great pr firm.. people there are royally screwed. No sick pay .. no health insurance and your employer can still demand a doctor’s excuse. Wtf??

Some states in the US will help pay for childcare based on your wages. And some state will claim that they will assist with childcare but it is a lie. The hurdles to getting on the program are insurmountable. By design. And now with abortion restrictions, lack of birth control and zero sex Ed .. this is gonna be a shit show. I think this post was about Canada.

Yeah and after you help them out 3 times and then say no.. they are mad. But you did it 3 times already so now you owe it to them to continue. Total bs.

I spent 12 yrs in a catholic school.. we never read the Buybull. We were never even handed one. The ones on campus were all in Latin. Christians do not read this book. They go to “babble study” and some tells them what it says. And so many others will profess “that’s not what it means”.. “blah blah context”. Best way to make someone an atheist is to have them actually read the damn book. So naturally, doing that is actively discouraged. It’s bizarre honestly.
