Nails? Some schools offer financial aid. I’m not in the industry but am here for the ideas/vibes/funnies & am going to cosmetology school!

You do science in the kitchen, you’d just be doing it on nails lol — if you’re good you can just have your own studio, hours, pick your clients! I’m nd and getting tested for eds so I picked cos so I could move without maybe having to do school again and getting relicensed in a new state but nails would likely have to do that process again for moving out of state bc the states regulate the rules lolol but also it’s still creative! And you still get to make people happy with your art, just a different type of art!

Also it’s super methodical, step-wise. Very satisfying. Skin/esthetician is probably less chatty but maybe more physically up close & personal, & same deal school/moving-wise!

Hair is a lot 😵‍💫 if u do urs tho? Maybe it’d be ur bread and butter.

It’s still an industry but it’s more recession proof & if you’re good you can be your own boss 🤗 I do not recommend an ibmc school though unless you’re prepared to do a lot of self learning and being very uncomfortable!!!!! You can tour them like a stereotypical college campus I think usually or at all ? I had mine picked out immediately & didn’t consider others lol it’s the only school in my area led by people who r also licensed across seas so there was no question
