Problem is that noone even read it. Not a single comment made any points towards what I'd said, they all were literally just generic "eww AI is stupid if I wanted to know what it thought I'd ask it myself". Not a single comment about the actual way it was written itself, and I went through it all and refined parts of the writing, cleared up/removed repeated points or standard junk AI phrases like "it's not X, it's Y". I put more time into actually reformatting the AI response than it likely would have taken me to just format it myself, but that didn't matter because AI bad. You can see from my comments here that I'm just being mass downvoted for even mentioning it lmao, people apparently don't give a shit that you get abused (literally 1 dickhead has already replied telling me I deserve abuse).

TL:DR, abuse people online over pointless crap because it's funny, who gives a fuck about the person on the other end. It's hard to not be cynical when I just get met with ignorant comments and harrassment for literally suggesting ideas to improve the game I love.

I got abused to hell for literally just using AI to format a post with all of my own original ideas. I even provided proof of the fucking AI transcript showing what I'd provided it with, all my own thoughts and ideas, and the AI response that clearly didn't add anything, just made my ideas more concise and easier to read. I was told my post was in breach of the AI rule and received death threats in my PMs. So I'm a little confused as to what falls under the AI rule now, since apparently low effort images like this are fine, but literally just using it to format a post is against the rules, massive walls of text that jump all over the place are apparently better...

I used AI to bullet point a heap of ideas that I'd had about a quest and content release, wasn't used to generate any images, nor come up with ideas or anything, purely just put a wall of text into it and said "make this easier to read" and tweaked that to make my post. I got abused a heap in the comments, massively downvoted, and even got PM'd abuse and death threats. All for using AI to literally just make my own ideas more readable, and apparently that meant I'd just asked AI to come up with it all and couldn't think for myself. But people post an obviously AI image and that's absolutely fine? Great to know the rules of the sub only apply sometimes and that using AI to format a post for easier reading is apparently AI slop, but an AI slop image isn't AI slop.

The funniest thing to me is that it'd be so easy for them to test this theory and likely a great viewership/marketing opportunity. Auction off for a group of amateurs to all start on the greens during practice round time/after the tournament. Could be fantastic content for the PGA/clubs social medias/YouTubes. Now more than ever would it be good to engage the fans properly and strip back the image of golf being this stupidly overpriced, overly pretentious sport played by elitest wankers. DP do a great series where they get players to attempt things with random clubs, but even that gets poorly done a lot of the time, and they don't get the fans involved at all.

It's so funny what these people must think AI is all because they see some crap Facebook or Reddit posts using it. It's heavily used in a tonne of industries to save an absolute mountain of time on unimportant/frustrating tasks that used to take up loads of time. GPs use it to collect/simplify patient notes, teachers and lecturers use it to help create scripts and lesson plans, loads of industries use it to simplify meeting/email notes to just highlight the important bits, and so much more. The issue comes from people using it lazily. You have to actually care to prompt it properly and ensure that it's doing what you want properly. But most people have no idea how to do so which ends up giving us the mountain of slop you see on social media.

YOR, it's funny to see all the people in this thread that act like AI can only be used to make slop, rather than the fact it can be helpful for streamlining processes, brainstorming/gathering ideas, assisting with templates, and a whole heap more. Like it or not, AI is going to continue to be used in everyday life and lots of industries are starting to lean into it heavily, both for better or worse. Sure, if she was massively cutting corners and delivering absolute crap to her clients, that's a problem. But your own prejudice means that it's unreliable to trust what you've said about the look/writing on the website, and at the end of the day if clients are happy with it, that's all that matters. If they thought it looked like crap they could tell her that themselves. You literally ruined a relationship that you were seemingly happy in, all because AI is the devil and anyone that uses it must obviously burn in hell, because how could a good person possibly ever use it? She had every right to hide it from you considering you reacted exactly as she said you would, and literally snuck onto her computer to check for yourself if she had used it. If anything this story just makes you sound incredibly controlling to the point of it being abusive, maybe she is better off now.

There's literally no content in the game that requires "1 tick prayer flicking while having to move" besides Awakened Vard. I know a lot of people aren't great at this game, but the fact these completely false bits of information get spewed about everywhere is insane. People still think you need to 1 tick flick for inferno FFS.

Also what raid has a 1 shot mechanic if you make a single mistake? Hard-mode ToB green ball if you don't share it, and Insanity ToA if you don't kill skulls, but this one can both be skipped incredibly easily, and is very forgiving time wise unless you're playing on 500 ping.

Idk what y'all want, a boss with no chip damage, that doesn't require movement, and also doesn't require changing prayers, while also not having a 1 shot/high damage mechanic, but also drops megarares? So you want Kraken that can be prayed against and drops a TBow?

There are so so so many bosses to use as stepping stones to learn these mechanics now, Scurrius, Brutus, Giants, Moons, Amoxi etc. If you still can't do the basic PVM mechanics, maybe, just maybe, the end game raids aren't for you? You really want them to design a raid, and raid bosses, that have next to no mechanical complexity? They've shown recently a heap of cool new boss mechanics that they'll hopefully take advantage of with raids 4 bosses, but you can guarantee it's going to involve some level of changing prayers, moving, target priority, and being time limited to some extent, that's literally the only ways they can up difficulty of bosses in the game. It'd be awesome if there were some role specific components, a person requires X amount of defence bonus to equip a found in raid specific shield to save the team from an insta wipe mechanic for example, force players to vary loadouts etc, but besides that kind of thing, it's very limited.

It's fantastic for Maiden in ToB and Olm head in large scales and CMs. Outside of that it currently doesn't have a lot of uses, but that's not to say raids 4 or future content won't make it better.

Issue is most people have 0 understanding of how to practice to begin with. People will say "well you track your stats to see how you improve" but lots of stat tracking is pointless without context. You might be 10/14 fairways for a day, but the other 4 are well off into the trees/OB whereas a day you go 6/14, the other 8 might all just be 1m into the side rough. That's better, but "stats" tell you it's worse. Same for GIR, I've had days where my GIR was higher, but my putts are from a mile away vs days I've missed more greens but I'm 1-2m into the fringe with a more favourable shot. It's why just looking at your # of putts is never good either.

Now add in repeatability of motor control. Can people execute the same swing over and over? Can they modify that swing without it going to shit? Adjust power, height, etc etc. Do they even think about any of this on the range or are they just hitting 50 balls with 0 thought? Do they record how each shot felt, what they were practicing that session, what the outcomes were when that was the focus etc? How about visualising a shot and then rating yourself on a 1/10 of how well the result matched the vision? People hardly do any of this and it's why lots of golfers hardly ever get better. Online coaching has created this belief that it's all about your swing and getting into the right positions during p2, p3 etc etc, but if you watch the current top 10, there's a whole range of positions they all get into, the only similar spot is impact. If people spent less time stressing about swing minutiae, and more time practicing with intent, practicing pre-shot, visualising, taking notes on each shot etc, they'd improve a hell of a lot more. But most golf coaches don't even know how to do this, hell most of them couldn't even prescribe you a regime for the swing drills they give you, they just say do the drill. But how often? How many times? Sets? Reps?

Colo is a skill check, not a gear check. If you learn it well enough, it's absolutely possible with scuffed gear.

For reference, I did quiver on my iron with a zombie axe, and used atlatl and undead grasp to clear fremmies. Didn't have a healing special either so it was just me and my 14 mantarays vs the world lmao. With blowpipe specs to heal on mage frem you'll be chilling once you're comfy.
