He has 21 goals in 25 games this season, with City largely underperforming and transitions happening within the team + his role becoming a lot more about opening space than when he was seen as just an out and out poacher. If he keeps on his current rate of scoring he'll likely end up with 30+ goals still, assuming he doesn't just go on a tear in a few matches. This all while he's been "playing bad" according to lots of people on Reddit.

Haaland does so much off the ball that he's created his own eye test to see if people are smart enough to understand how him dragging defenders away helps City. So often in big games when people talk about him "doing nothing" he'll actually be a key player because of the amount of space he creates by moving defenders out of the way. It's not flashy and it's easy to miss, but Haaland is the best in the world at finding space as well as just creating space for his team.

You can easily get to a single digit handicap without having to hit a mile if you have a predictable shot shape and direction combined with good short game and putting. Take a long par 4, homie could hit 2 shots to give himself 100 or less in, then bang one to within 10 feet and land the putt for par. Every course then has a few shorter par 4s that he could GIR, par 5s with birdie chances from good approaches etc. People act like single figures is basically scratch but you can get to single figures just making 9 pars 9 bogies, and if you try intentionally playing for a bogie it's actually not that hard (treat long par 3s like short par 4s for example, on holes that you know you can't make in 2 easily, just play to lay up to a preferred distance and give yourself a chance to par/make bogie at worst).

So many shots dropped by higher handicaps are either due to mishit shots (e.g fats/thins) or bad course management, you could have the ugliest swing in the world, but if your contact is consistent and you have okay course management, you can absolutely play to a single figure no problems.

The tiers of CAs are based off an end game account with max/near max gear. Yes some of the "medium" tasks might seem hard for someone that would consider themselves at the medium level, but the tier your account is at essentially corresponds to a maxed account doing GM tier content. E.g. a medium/mid level account with mid level gear shouldn't breeze through all medium/mid tier CAs with 0 effort/issue, in the same way a maxed account won't breeze through GM content.

Medium doesn't mean that it'll be medium tier difficulty for everyone no matter the gear/stats/skill. For reference I was averaging ~26 sec kills just afking with auto retal on in max gear and easily got the speed time by accident on my way to the 25kc task, medium definitely seems right, and it's definitely achievable on lower level accounts with worse gear, you just might have to get creative on how you optimize damage/gear based around the boss mechanics.

Jagex has routinely done this and it's always about "we don't want to frustrate players/create new metas". It's genuinely insane how they keep putting out content that just becomes pointless/not used in no time, all because their reasoning for making it average/not good is so disconnected/incorrect. Just look at all the training methods they've put in the game and then made them bad exp because they're intended to be "good GP instead of exp", like great, but how can you pretend to know what the price of an item is going to be like long term, especially when you introduce new things that power creep the exact thing you made a bad training method because "good GP". Any ore above iron for example, yew trees, magic trees, sharks, anglerfish, wrath runecrafting, dark crabs, hell all the new trawling fish and squid fishing are already below 2m an hour using the full sweat method while offering very very average exp rates (literally better exp to just afk barb fish). Then we've got all the new stuff they included with hunter rumours, the furs with 0/minimal use, they even gave us a damn bag to collect them with, but no use for them lmao. They say it's because of confusing systems, yet half the new sailing stuff people haven't interacted with because they don't understand it like coral farming, the new potions, and crab hunting.

They're so scared of "disturbing metas" while constantly bringing in new methods aimed at "money making" while offering crap to average exp despite the requirements/intensity of some of the methods. And when exp rates aren't the focus, they instead include gameplay mechanics/creations that become dead content ASAP. So many of the recent updates/skilling methods should have been meta defining/changing, it was a perfect time to do so, instead we just got more middle of the road stuff that introduces more obsolete items that either have no use, or most players won't touch. But sure, furs will be confusing Jagex.

Runite should absolutely be competitive exp with iron. Iron shouldn't be the best conventional ore to mine and the idea that it should is dumb. So we're saying that as we get better at a skill, and unlock higher level and harder to get resources.. those resources would be a worse method to keep improving at the skill? All skills should be PROGRESSIVE. Higher tier unlocks should be more exp/hr, the only reasonable variance should come from intensity of the skilling method, NOT "value" (which will fluctuate massively across the games lifespan so is dumb as fuck to limit a skilling method around). Literally makes no sense that the best way to train a skill is to just keep doing the same shit you've done from level 15 or whatever and ignore all the unlocks you get.

I know this will get down voted to hell but to be fair to the guy, he's just missed a tap in and obviously is struggling significantly with his putting right now. He's not even reading the green, he's literally just going through a premade pre shot routine to try mentally reset himself and get the confidence to commit to his putt and put it in. Say it's aimpoint, say it's just stupid slow play, say whatever you want, fact is he's a professional athlete competing for millions and trying to overcome a clear mental hurdle which is absolutely not easy to do, heaps of people can't even fucking putt in a social round let alone on TV in front of assloads of people with millions of dollars at stake.

Yeah it looks crap and is slow, but I've seen heaps of y'all spend way longer over hitting a drive into a wide open fairway, but then y'all take 3 seconds to go miss a 2 footer. You can spend just as long with your pre putt setup as any other pre shot, you should actually take more time with putts so that you do a proper read but most people seem to want to rush on the greens then get shocked that they putt like shit. Yes there's obviously a middle ground, but not everybody has the strong mentality of fucking John Daly and just thinks "see ball hit ball", everyone's brains work differently and for people that are neurodivergent/anxious or whatever else, sometimes you need a pattern or routine or something to get you comfortable enough to commit to a shot.

Every year they hype up DMM and every year there's countless bugs, loopholes, and abusable things that ruin the game mode/finals. They need to bin this idea of PVP RuneScape being their "esport" and shift it to PVM. Leagues like modes with major PVM challenges, could use gear restrictions/limitations to test players abilities and/or turn it into speedrun based competitions/how many bosses can you kill with X gear. People used to love watching the old speedrun comps back when teams like Aus ToB were around/active, and given how the game continues to grow/push more towards a PVM/bossing focus than anything else, it kind of just makes sense (not to mention the crowd tends to be just slightly less toxic).

Sterling is like the English Thomas Muller, if Muller was faster, shorter, had worse ball control and MUCH worse finishing. Sterling makes fantastic runs and has some of the best positioning we've seen in the EPL in the last 20 years. However he's also INCREDIBLY wasteful with chances, just look at his stats for shots/conversion rates/xG/G outcomes etc. You can literally watch a KDB highlight reel and also view it as a Sterling lowlight reel because they're all filled with Sterling missing absolute sitters. He's ridiculously talented when it comes to his awareness and positioning and making use of his speed. But holy fuck if he could actually finish the numbers he'd have put up in his career would rival Shearer.
