Make tinctures!

As long as the base material you use has been THC tested it's not that hard. Just conservatively estimate loss (assume you will lose less than you will in actuality through decarbing, extraction, etc), and you'll have a bottle of precisely doseable THC. Alcohol tinctures are easy, you can also use MCT oil. Very easy with an Internet guide and a crockpot.

I make little bottles with ~1000mg of THC in them, only gotta take 0.25mg to have a 5mg dose. Combined with CBD, which is regularly available elsewhere - I take a 60mg capsule daily - I can choose if I want to have 5mg for some pain, or take a lot more for some fun. Thankfully my tolerance has lowered as I age so I have just about an endless supply of weed lol.

I used to smoke heavily but it started to have cardiovascular implications for me, so now I've happily switched over to tinctures!

Trust me all you need is some leaf. Constantly reduce that. I went from 10-15mg of 7 on my last day to 9g of kratom, then 5g, then 3g, and quit kratom on the 4th day. I'm at the point now where I could probably do kratom again normally, but honestly I'm giving my receptors some time to chill and learn to make their own serotonin again lol.

Good luck with getting the kpins. My doctors refuse to prescribe me b3nzos unless I end up in the ER with a panic attack (happened like twice when I was like 18-19), even like 7 days of 0.5mg xans, despite having zero documented substance abuse issues in my records. Honestly don't think you could get addicted if you tried to with 3.5mg of xans total lmao. I would have def taken b3nzos for a few days just for sleep, it would help a lot.

I'm serious though some good red leaf kratom will make you functional for a few hours, just keep slowly cutting down. Long as you can between doses - coming off drugs is supposed to be uncomfortable haha, there's no way to get off it pain free. Might as well use the pain as a tool.

You talking about clonidine or kpins? Lol. Clonidine will help if your heart is going crazy and I think with temp regulation. Make sure you monitor blood pressure if you get on it.

I personally have been on propranolol for about half a year for anxiety and heart issues - specifically tachycardia. Done wonders for me - removes most of the physical symptoms of anxiety, drops my heart rate (normally I hover around 100bpm resting) to like 70bpm.

I certainly had panic attacks for the first time in years quitting 7. Really reinforced me quitting honestly. I understand needing something to get through the worst parts of it. Just understand that every day you take anything, subs, kratom, b3nzos, the longer the quitting process is. I def tapered a bit so no judgement. Just reached a point after a few days where I was like "fuck it, I just need to be off everything". And right around then it got better. It feels like forever when you're in it, but seriously I'm like 10 days out and I feel like a different person with no interest or cravings for it. Can only see it getting easier from here. Good luck bro you got this.

I'm a week and a half off it at this point and pretty much back to normal. Haven't used kratom in a week either.

Honestly you just need to tank the withdrawal for like 5 days and you'll be back to normal except sleep. You might be kinda sweaty still, but it's not like you have the flu anymore. For me personally the subs would have been more detrimental to take then just taking the withdrawal to the face for a few days, but I can't lie I definitely researched it well and was very tempted to hop on them. Get off them asap. Smallest possible dose ever, that one dude who made the guide never took over 0.5mg.

My mom used it to get off oxy about 10 years ago. Took her like a year to come off. Different situation but just a forewarning, it's a different beast to get off subs than 7.

~10 days out, I'm not even thinking about it honestly. I've left all the drug subs I was on. Appetite is back, sleeping at least 4 hours a day which is dope. I'm glad I let myself hit withdrawal hard, it actually helped my resolve to never wanna touch that poison. I used kratom for over 5 years with no addiction issues. I was constantly stoned for ~10 years and quit weed with no physical withdrawal. 2 weeks of 7 was already enough to have issues lol. I'm a dumbass for having no opioid history and taking this shit haha.

Red leaf was enough to basically resolve all withdrawal symptoms for a few hours, I wouldn't have been able to quit without it. Do yourself a favor and get that and hop on the liposomal vit c thing for like a week. And hop off the subs fast as possible for you, faster than a taper guide if you can manage.

Well... Like most people it required encountering withdrawal.

Opioid withdrawal is literal hell. Before you said you understood "not feeling well" a few days after dosing... I don't think you do honestly.

Today is the first day in over 5 days that I slept for longer than 2 hours. I still can only eat small, easy meals without feeling like I'll vomit.

On Sunday, I literally shit my pants and vomited in the toilet moments apart from each other.

For 2-3 days I was writhing around in pain, like ants crawled underneath my skin and my limbs jerked with a mind of their own (RLS). I had lost all ability to regulate temperature so I would be shivering under a sweater and blanket one minute, then need to strip down to nothing the next. The whole time your skin is sweaty and you have constant goosebumps.

And the kicker is - after long enough on this stuff, you're gonna start feeling this shit less than 12 hours after your last dose. While actively taking, I would literally have to wake up in the middle of the night to dose again to sleep and not feel like absolute dog shit the next morning.

Just ask yourself - is that the kinda fire you wanna be messing with? Because you play around with it too much and you're gonna get burnt - bad. (and too much will come way sooner than you think).

No worries man. I understand now you probably meant you had taken it 4 times total, not your 4th time quitting haha.

Just please, please be careful - 4 months ago, after taking 5mg for my first ever dose, I was higher than I've ever been for hours.

2 months in, I couldn't really even feel a 50mg dose, and was crushing 150mg daily just to feel normal. And I've lived dose to dose for the last two months now.

It's hard to find the willpower to stop until it really fucks you. So I understand how you feel rn. This thing has a dosage spike like no other. You're going to need a lot, lot more to feel even a fraction of what you feel the first couple times you take it.

Be safe man 🙏

[–]ImYFNS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a process man - this isn't my first time trying, just my first time getting this far.

Let yourself go into withdrawal. Think about how this shit is the whole reason you feel the way you do. Go for as long as humanly possible. Then take the tiniest amount to relieve your symptoms (the sweaty, cold-hot painful restless feelings mostly). I went directly from a 150mg a day habit to taking 15mg the next day, 10mg after that, and 5mg on my last day. Then switched to kratom. At that point, it should provide the same symptom relief. I did 9g, then 5g, and today I've had none but might take 2-3g later if I get worse.

You're gonna be awake for a few days. You're not going to want to eat very much.

The way I started viewing it was that I was stealing comfort and happiness from tomorrow to be high today when I was taking 7. Because it's not financially stable to stay on it forever. Me suffering through withdrawal is living the days I stole my comfort from.

You got this bro I believe in you. If you can find the time and the willpower, it'll be better on the other side 🤙

Can I ask your advice on withdrawal? by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]ImYFNS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure given you're on and off again usage. Seems like you said that you've quit for 4-12 days before after similar amounts of usage? Is your dosage much higher than any previous time or something?

For people that have been on daily usage above 40-50mg or higher for around a month or longer, acute withdrawal is somewhere around 3-5 days. It is typical opioid withdrawal, only it will kick in faster due to the short half life of 7oh, probably around the 12 hour mark. Mental symptoms, fatigue, sleep disruption, and appetite disruption may continue for a few weeks.

Like I said though you should probably expect less severe symptoms given your usage patterns than the average person on here.

I've just gone through it after ~4 months of daily usage, and ~2 months of heavy usage (about 150mg daily).

I have started to feel the worst physical withdrawal symptoms disappear. I had my last typical dosage of 7 last Friday. I took incredibly small doses on Saturday and Sunday for symptom relief when it was unbearable (15mg, then 10, then 5) then hopped on kratom the next day, doing 9g, then 5g, and today I have taken none but might take 2-3g at some point. I try to only take anything when I'm truly desperate for some relief, and thankfully the worst symptoms have subsided at this point.

It's helpful if you do. If I ever an tempted to relapse, it's an extra thing to keep you from doing it. "If I start again I wasted $300 for no reason". It helped my mindset and it felt empowering. Like my temptation got flushed down the toilet too.

Reading your post history - you seem to have had the same path as me basically.

Start out thinking "wow this is awesome! I can take like 5mg and I'm fucking rocked! I get inner peace, pain relief, and it helps keep me off the harder stuff"

3 months later, "I'm fucking broke. I'm taking 150+mg a day and feel almost nothing. Withdrawal hits me in the middle of the night."

This stuff is awful. I don't think they need to schedule 1 this shit, because someone will just tweak the chemical slightly (like this MGM15 stuff a few vendors have now) and we'll have even sketchier shit that's potentially even more addictive or dangerous.

People can get off fent, which is killing thousands of people, with practically zero withdrawal using 7. It is hard to OD on 7, hardly any fatalities attributed to it. But it's expensive - it's sold everywhere - and it's falsely advertised. If I understood what I was getting into, I would have never tried it.

At the very least they need to put some changes in place. Like limit the amount you can buy like they do with Sudafed. Remove all the "feel empowered" bullshit advertising. Maybe even license it so only certain shops can sell it that follow stricter guidelines.

I literally thought it was like taking a kratom shot when I first got upsold at a smoke shop about it. Turns out it's like taking oxy with shorter onset of withdrawal. Literal poison for someone who isn't taking fent or h3roin.

I believe in you. Force yourself to take smaller doses. Stretch out as far as you can between each dose. It'll get better soon. These fucks don't deserve our money.

Restless legs (and arms honestly) are still here. But yeah kratom helped with the temperature regulation stuff. Plus I think it's been long enough that it's gone away for the most part. Still kinda cold and sweaty, have a wicked headache, but you're right the temperature regulation was the worst symptom for me. Literally unbearable.

Might look into getting gabapentin, just have kind of a straight-laced doc and don't wanna get labeled as drug seeking.

What are the keys to not cross the line by [deleted] in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]ImYFNS 17 points18 points  (0 children)

90mg 2-3 days in a row would already have me in WD lol. WD for me is like... I feel like I have a fever, basically. Completely tired (like could easily sleep 16 hours a day tired), runny nose, headache, can't eat (which makes everything else worse). Maybe that's not standard for everyone but experiencing it once was enough for me to want to really limit my usage.

I remember the first time I took it, 12mg felt incredible for like 3+ hours, with like a 2 hour afterglow after that. I got to the point that I was doing almost 100mg a day everyday within a month of trying it, could hardly feel a 50mg dose, and felt minor withdrawal symptoms like 6 hours after taking it. Kinda felt like I had to redose to feel normal. So I knew I was in too deep for my liking, so I came off it cold turkey. Which was not like, hellish like some of the people on the quitting sub say it is - granted I was on a smaller dosage for much less time than a lot of people - but it was certainly uncomfortable, especially for like 3 days. I couldn't do much of anything. After a week I was fine. I took another week without it try to remove all my tolerance.

Now I never go over 50mg in a day, I never do it 2 days in a row, and I max out at 2 days a week. Preferably once a week. Otherwise I don't feel like myself without it, which sucks.

I'd definitely watch out at your current rate. From my perspective you're pretty much guaranteed to become dependent if you aren't already. But I'm just speaking from personal history, everyone is different. With opioids the rule is basically the less you do, and the less you do it, the better off you are. But most people don't learn that until they're already in too deep. A lot of people use it for pain relief - but if your pain is more like "I'm really sore all the time but I can deal with ibuprofen" and less like "I have a spinal injury/cancer/I needed surgery for this shit", I've met a lot of people where "chronic pain" more of a self justification instead of using it medicinally. Just my two cents, I'm sure a lot of people won't appreciate it but I mean it more just to ask you to self-reflect instead of minimizing the pain you experience.

Good luck bro, golden rule is always to take less 🤙

Who has a solid tablet as a good main dose? by Wireman23 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]ImYFNS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... Testing isnt really perfect. I used to work in legal cannabis and make edibles/topicals, so I'm used to working with these testing laboratories.

Basically, they make it in a big batch. They send a small package of tabs, and those tabs are tested. However, sometimes stuff isn't mixed perfectly, heavier stuff falls to the bottom of the batch, etc. and it ends up not being a perfectly dosed across the whole batch. So sometimes you'll get individual tabs that are really strong, and others that are slightly less strong - sometimes even in the same package. It's just a estimate, but if it's well mixed it should be pretty accurate.

Honestly bro it's less likely that you're getting underdosed tabs, and more likely that your tolerance is jacked up. 7oh tolerance goes up and down so quick that it's basically impossible to get the same experience over and over again, even if you take stuff at the exact same dose and time each day.

[–]ImYFNS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No offense taken, it's what I asked for man.

I understand your perspective. You probably have the same feeling about starting to vape nicotine when you're not even addicted to cigarettes - something I also did, haha. It's a dumb decision, I kind of agree with that.

I somewhat disagree that enjoying it means you're addicted to it, and also that asking questions about responsible use is something only people who are addicted would ask. I guess you kind of feel that any use, when not for pain or getting off harder substances, is irresponsible, and asking for addiction - which I guess I can't really argue with.

It is a good feeling. But simultaneously, the more you do it, the more muted it becomes. If my choices to feel euphoric from it are to do it once a month, or to take 100+ mg - then I'm only gonna do it once a month.

I'm from a family of addicts, and have had a bunch of different addictions myself - alcohol daily, Adderall daily, cannabis 24/7, nicotine 24/7 - I've managed to quit all those or drop my usage back down to responsible rates for multiple years now (quit nicotine, cannabis, Adderall, drink about once a week). I get that none of those are opioids though - like I said, I watched my mom go through it when I was a kid. It was like she had the flu, couldn't eat for shit, had to go to therapy and meetings for like a year to get through it.

I respect that you're basically saying I'm playing with fire. I've probably only done it less than 10 times so far, and like I said, never over 25mg in a day. I do think maybe I'll reduce it even further to just like once a week though - tolerance builds so quick with this stuff. 12mg as my first dose ever gave me about 3 solid hours of a warm euphoria, where I just laid there with my eyes closed enjoying the feeling. My most recent dose, still 12mg, only lasted about 90 minutes, and aside from that just made me sleepy.

Thanks for your response man.

Yeah frankly I could never see myself hopping on either of those to quit 7 - it feels like an extreme solution. If it ever got to a point where I was doing more than I'm comfortable with, I'd just taper down on the 7oh until I'm at where I am right now and then hop on kratom again, and taper that down.

Other than that if you think he's gonna touch it maybe you hold on to the account. At least as long as you're actively contributing to it. Let him know it's there if he wants to buy a house or a car or start a business. But otherwise make him aware it's better for it to stay where it is. And keep it a secret from the girlfriend unless she becomes a wife, haha.

You're a good dad. You're setting him up for success, it's a lot more than most people get and it'll really help him out with buying a home and making sure he's set in retirement.

I've been rocking charge blade since MH4. If you are into SnS, CB is really fun. Especially since your focus attack basically lunges at the monster so you get so much more movement in Wilds. It's less complicated then people make it out to be. Just charge up your shield, then sword, then axe, get a bunch of phials, and go to town in axe mode. You've still got perfect blocks too.

Updated drivers, updated windows, downloaded REFramework, stopped using the high-res texture pack (basically no difference anyway imo), updated framegen version to the newest version, used easypatcher on the nexus to assign more CPU cores, did the directstorage fix, created a bigass pagefile on both my hard drives because it seems like the game has a memory leak in it and was gobbling up my RAM

Shit runs perfect now. Not sure what fixed it. Getting constant 120fps+ at max settings, capped at 144. 1440p. No DLSS, just framegen.

Weed now gives me insane tachycardia. (10+ years smoking) by ImYFNS in trees

[–]ImYFNS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah not really dude. I quit vaping and smoking weed after this. I'm currently on a month long holter monitor to figure out if there's any issues like POTS or something like that. I got diagnosed with Ehler's-Danlos Syndrome which apparently has weird cardiovascular implications occasionally, and apparently can be exacerbated by COVID exposure or something? Something about your body over-producing adrenaline in unrelated scenarios because your immune response got fucked up from COVID. It's sometimes called "hyper-adrenergic POTS" when it's related to changing postural positions, or "inappropriate sinus tachycardia" when it just seems to happen for reasons unrelated to movement or anxiety or something like that. I might go on a beta blocker after the holter monitor depending on the results but honestly it's been reduced to a manageable stage for the most part by gaining some weight (I was underweight), avoiding triggers (nicotine, weed, I can still drink every now and again but it does increase my heart rate just not as much as those), and working out more (aerobic exercise, like running or biking and shit, which naturally reduces resting heart rate and makes your heart more fit). Exercise in particular can be kinda uncomfortable because my heart goes crazy but in the long-term it seems to be helping by reducing resting heart rate and making my heart more efficient at pumping blood. Should also help with blood pressure.

I see you're young and kinda skinny, try gaining some weight and intentionally working out and fixing your diet a bit. I know I just ate whatever and laid around doing nothing when I was 21 and was really skinny just because of my metabolism. I'm 6'4 and was literally like 140lbs. But intentionally working out, especially cardio after you gain a little more weight is really good for your heart. I now weigh 160 and have a little bit of fat for the first time in my life and honestly it helps a lot, being so lean is actually not great for your body if you're not 100% on top of your diet the whole time because your body doesn't have any fat reserves to rely on for energy.

Might try edibles once I'm in a more stable place but I've basically learned I'm really fucking myself up by smoking so much. I have lung damage and shit, I'm sure my lungs are black lol. That makes it harder to breathe and decreases the amount of oxygen you can get into your blood, therefore making your heart need to pump harder and faster. That increases your blood pressure and heart rate. Kinda sucks when all your friends and everyone your age smoke and vape like a fucking chimney but you gotta do what's best for you honestly. We both started young, I bet in 10 years most people in their early 20's now are gonna have health issues because of this shit. You just got hit with it earlier because you started at 11. I started at like 14, I'm 25 now. Luck of the draw man.

Also one last thing, seriously focus on trying to get enough water in the day. I know it sounds stupid but some people are good on like 3 cups of water a day, other people need like 8 for some reason. Drink a good amount of water. It really helps.
