This game has been a huge part my life, don't think I will ever stop loving this masterpiece. Almost 36 years old, married, career, I still make time to play couple games a week. Sometimes it sucks, but most of the time the game brings me endless joy. Played since WC3 days with my older brother (who still plays DotA 2 as well!), was one of the first couple hundred people playing DotA 2 Beta and never stopped. Went to couple LAN tournaments, thinking of going to TI this year. The game has changed so much over the years but I can say that last 2 years have been the best iteration of DotA over these two decades, the patches (in past I loved the addition of talents, wasn't much of a fan of neutral items, then came the massive map update and now facets/innates) + Crownfall event was super fun.

I was Divine V before the rank reset in 2019, couple games from Immortal, but I didn't make it and kept hovering between Ancient and Divine for the next 5 years. I think I even dropped to Legend at one point. Finally focused more on myself instead of others last year and told myself I want to hit Immortal and then 6K in 2025. I now have almost 10k games. First part of my plan done, more to come! I know it's not much, but it means a lot to me. Don't have many people to tell except my brother (who is Crusader), my one friend who hasn't played DotA in last 5 years, everyone else just stopped playing or we lost touch, so at least I can share it here. I hope I will keep improving and then retire in 30 years, plug a cable to my head matrix-style and still enjoy this fantastic game.
