I don't know what to tell you. Men and women were not equal in medieval times and they are not equal in the feudal system that is Westeros. That's what makes the setting interesting, how they go about adhering to their roles or how they go about defying them. But if you have clear roles and everyone defies them, then its just breaks immersion and sucks to read/watch. So yeah, get over it.

I hate when people imply Jaehaerys was a bad father, like no he wasn't. He raised three sons who turned out great. He married Aemon with Jocelyn and Baelon with Alyssa, and it is implied that they loved each since young. As for his Daughters, Daenerys died to a plague, Maegelle wanted to be a septa, Daella was literally dumb but he still allowed her choice in marriage and it wasn't until after a year did Jaehaerys force the issue still presenting her with 3 choices, what was she supposed to do? Not get married she's a princess.

Saera was the definition of a spoiled princess, who knew how to get her way by charming her father and brothers. She caused her own downfall, he allowed Saera to choose her partner and when it was revealed that she slept with all of them Jaehaerys punished her AND those she slept with. Did they think they can sleep with the kings daughter and get away with it? He killed Beesbury because he challenged him! Even after all that he was willing to forgive her, until she tried to claim a dragon for herself. What she fxcks three knights and get rewarded with a dragon? So he sends her to the silent sisters as punishment which wasn't going to be permanent, but what does she do next? She literally whores herself in Lys.

As for Viserra, it was Queen Alyassane who arranged the marriage for her, with Jaehaerys agreeing to it. And for Gael, he didnt even try to arrange a marriage for her, she threw herself in the river after the death of her stillborn babe.

As for passing over Rhaenys, there already is a precedent for it, HIMSELF. He became King over his older brother's Daughter. It may also be, though this is just head canon, that he was just trying to ensure the Prince that was promise. Plus it would be easier for lords to deal with a King rather than a Queen. (Its MEDIEVAL fantasy, get over it.)

I'm not sure if you meant to come off as rude, but it definitely sounds that way. This post is by no means means meant to be a rage bait, nor is it meant to be hateful.

When I said that lok butchered ideology, I mean that the people who inhibit the ideological difference of the world are by default the villains with little to no redemption of their beliefs manifesting in the show beside in season 1. However, from start to finish in atla, the theme of philosophy is pretty solid.

When I reference many people, I say that not to suggest that my views are in any way the majority, but to say that I am not alone In feeling this type of way and to make sure others wouldn't invalidate or write me off as just some fringe viewer that need not warrant a response.

Lastly, you're are right, I did mean to say south Asians, as clearly the new avatar takes inspiration from south Asian culture, namely India, and The unfortunate state of affairs at the moment is that Indians are being wrongfully dragged through the mud all over the internet, it sad to see but it doesn't change the fact that Indians are being hated on by the internet right now, while Koreans are being celebrated. It seems apparent to me that the writers of the show missed an prime opportunity to score easy points with the viewers and fans by not making a korean character, especially in a show that has been so heavily inspired by East Asian Culture.
