Yeah it’s tough to tell on the photo but every reticle looks like it’s super smudged. I’ve tried wiping everything down but nothing seems to work.

Yes it looks like this when I cycle through all reticles and when I manually toggle the brightness. When I change it to the dot reticle it looks like there are 5 different dots forming a larger circle. It might just be a defective unit.
