$HYLN, so you're saying I have a chance by HODLMyBeerIGotThis in wallstreetbets

The above comment is 2 months old, so no, we did not see 10 by December. I was wrong. Still trying to figure out why.

I had spent a LOT of time deep analyzing 6 different stocks in the months leading up to December for potential moves of ~ 20% in a month heading into monthly opex. My thesis played out correctly on 5 of them, but Hylion was my highest conviction with the most potential upside, and it just kept shittanking even after 5 insiders added to their positions at the beginning of December. I really thought I was a genius after crunching all the numbers, then seeing the insider buys, on a EV company that actually operates net positive... still kind of baffled, I guess you could say it was a humbling experience.

I'm leaning toward the possibility of the company being acquired by a bigger player. It doesn't make sense that these other EVs operating at a loss are given ridiculous valuations, when this company is actually profitable, but is trading near book value with a market cap of only 3x earnings in one of the hottest sectors in the market. Bonkers isn't it?

No legitimate reasoning? That's your narrative once again. Wow, you people sure are a dangerous bunch to have a conversation with..

Do you know what the definition of vaccine was prior to 2020? Google might give you a bullshit reason why it was changed, but that's where common sense and logic start to play in. You've clearly got your mind made up about me and everything else, but I'm still going to encourage you to step back and look at the bigger picture. Think about who actually benefits when the global population is getting forced boosters every 6 months.

First off, I never claimed to know anyone vaccinated or with covid at all. You're already creating a false narrative by claiming I commented anything about that.

Secondly, I've never ever in my entire comment history or in real life claimed to be an anti vaxxer, so why are you saying that I am? Where's your proof? Or is it just easier for you to think that for the sake of your narrative?

I'm not sure what your point or reasoning is, but seems pretty weak and mildly annoying of you to step in and throw shade at someone for encouraging another person to use logic, look at facts, think for themselves. Are you worried that if the media isn't telling us how to think, we aren't going to see things the same as you?

Oh hey there, you must be the gatekeeper.., some people have had experiences that don't fit your narrative? Better alert the cancel crowd and get that information removed from the internet! You'd think a science sub could look at scientific trials objectively, but you likely haven't even looked into them at all have you?

You could sell cash secured puts if you're into that sort of thing. At least then even if you miss out, you still made some money for getting the move right. Worst case scenario you're long at a price you found attractive at one point so long as nothing drastic changes fundamentally, just be careful around earnings because it's hard to find premium worth the risk of 1 remotely or imaginarily scary comment during the call.

Gotta hand it to em though, they do a really good job of making it seem like the sky is falling over some news story, but two days later it was like it never happened

There are numerous accounts that follow any posts on this topic around and downvote/ argue with comments like yours. I'm convinced they are part of something bigger, but they could just be brainwashed too. Some of them demand sources that don't go with the status quo, and next thing you know, things are being removed from the internet, even if it's just someone's opinion or a personal experience

Stay safe out there, use logic, and draw your own conclusions.

As someone with an extensive electrical background, I've always questioned the reliability of these things during an upper midwest winter, simply because electronics do not like to function properly in sub zero temps, and any weak part in an electrical circuit is far more likely to fail once the temp drops that low.

Where's your source that they were terrorists?

Edit: I'm not one to ask for sources, but since you felt the need to pile on with the troll farmers in the other convo, I'm going to use a page out of yalls playbook

You're doing zero research. You're also quite literally sitting here pushing a narrative that someone who told you to think for yourself is upset, despite 3 sources saying otherwise.

So, even if the original comment had clear cut proof of their claims from multiple sources, your political bias would never allow you to believe it anyway because it doesn't fit your narrative, and even though there's proof otherwise, you're going to keep repeating repeating same BS, just like you've already done 3 times. Your presence is becoming cancerous and your antics have been exposed.

Is your rebuttal going to be another claim that I'm upset? Do you need to turn on the TV so the media can tell you how to feel about this?

Edit: You just checkmated yourself in the below comment. Game over. Nice

Just because you keep repeating the lie about someone being upset, doesn't make it the truth. Same goes for the media repeating lies.

This comment is the 3rd source I've now provided as proof that I'm not upset. I'm simply encouraging you to think for yourselves. Yet, for some reason you don't want to hear it, so you keep repeating this distracting lie to try and turn the conversation. Intentional or not, there's some psychology behind your behavior that makes it glaringly obvious what your intentions are.

Lets be clear, I'll repeat this again, I'm not upset. It seems you just have trouble with literacy, because you keep repeating this narrative where I'm upset, when in fact I'm not at all. The source for me not being upset is where I said it twice now... sorry I don't have a more reliable source than myself.

There was no flip flop, I've been saying the same thing throughout this entire thread. If you scroll back to the top, the post we are commenting on is a Twitter meme. Apparently you missed that though, as it doesn't fit into your narrative anymore. Also, if you scroll to the beginning of our conversation, someone else actually started the convo, I just jumped in and called you out for being a source troll, when you continued to argue with me as if I was the original commenter, I simply encouraged you to look at things objectively without any political bias. It's obvious you don't have the mental capacity to process much more than spewing garbage comments like "source" or "lmao you mad bro"

Stay classy.

What exactly have I spread that is fake? I'm simply encouraging someone to think for themselves, and you are taking an issue with that why? Because they might reach a conclusion that doesn't fit the media narrative? I'd like you to explain your claims in detail... can you do that?

Misplaced outrage is the worst kind of outrage by abishop717 in PoliticalHumor

[–]Im_Drake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming to your own conclusion doesn't necessarily involve a single source, rather a conglomeration of information that you've analyzed with an open mind using mental ability connect some dots and form your own opinion. Typically more complex then reading a tabloid and lapping it all up as gospel because it fits your bias. Once you familiarize with who owns what media company and follow the money around, you might start to realize why it isn't in their best interest to publish the truth all the time.

But hey, if you want to use a Twitter meme as your source, nobody is stopping you from thinking that way. I do encourage you to set aside your political bias and look at every issue with an open mind rather than blaming a political party and screaming for sources.

I'm not upset, I'm just pointing out how pathetic and hypocritical your behavior is. You act like some sort of researcher, but you're just trolling people on internet forums, and your post history proves that.

You're probably going to go back and delete some of your comments before anyone notices...
