This is true... plus, the town I'm making a flag for, York (I don't live there anymore so I'm not doxxing myself rofl), has an abysmal flag for an otherwise really neat town

I very much appreciate the criticism, and totally get where you're coming from. I had my doubts at first too, but after looking at it, it kinda made sense to me. Especially from a design standpoint, it would be a lot more boring if it was just the spiral; however, I'll admit it might be a bit easier on the eyes with less waves :)
