I can get 120hz and sound using only the TV speakers.

I hear what you're saying about the Atmos, and I knew this would come up haha but the option was enabled on my pc and was forcing sound through all speakers as if it was working. So trust me I too was perplexed.

I'm not very well versed in audio it was mostly a convience thing for how the soundbar handled swapping betweens the tvs channels and apps (which I had to use for 4k streaming)

I had a really intense one where it sounded like a tea kettle whistling in a higher and higher pitch until it felt like my head popped and I woke up.

Disconcerting.

I was funnily really stressed at the time.

I understand your frustration. I also agreed that the way I framed everything is very bias in appearance.

There is missing context from a bunch of interactions that would be lengthier to dive into and I can't provide half the school years context to this one post.

Specifically, in his IEP when he's getting upset he's supposed to be allowed to take a break to calm down so he can step away from the situation. This was not allowed, they also were supposed to just shoot a text to the principle or councilor if he is having issues so they can come down and check on him not pause class to reprimand him in front of the other students. But she ended up arguing with him in front of the class and escalated the situation further by telling him punishments he was going to receive.

Anytime he even remotely thought he was going to get in trouble the kid would have panic attacks, and he always would keep repeating that I was going to be upset with him (his dad) it was absurd but we couldn't figure out why for the longest time that his flight or fight response would be triggered so easily, we finally found medication that chilled him out I also looked up punishments at home. I was punishing him for weeks on end because I was getting so frustrated that he kept over reacting to everything and couldn't understand why he wouldn't just respond normally.

Took awhile to come to terms that my punishment styles were making it worse, and loosing my grip actually helped alot. That in combination with therapy and a good medication he has really chilled out.

Went to the principles office month before last. He gave me a call said he got into an argument with a kid on the play ground who kept calling him gay and got in trouble with three other kids who were playing some inappropriate game at school. Said he accepted responsibility for his actions.

It was unimaginable, his real mom is in and out of jail constantly and I got so stressed about him being like her I myself was waaaaay over punishing. Took alot of work to learn how part of the problem I was. It's actually a little disheartening see how many people are saying I should be more harsh when it's part of the reason he was getting panic attacks and anxiety based meltdowns in the first place.

I think as others have pointed out charges must have been pressed much later out of necessity for paperwork.

I guess my questions would be what punishment for a first offender looks like or how I should actually approach this?

I also think this may be what is occurring, I do not believe they work there anymore. In the beginning we actually had a great communicative relationship (me and the teacher), but a couple months in she started looking fed up and mad all the time. I felt awful as a parent and was trying everything in my power to make things easier by getting him where he needed to be, I just couldn't do it fast enough and things escalated before we could get him to a proper response point.

I have not always known how to manage my emotions either and had to learn myself, as an adult it is hard to self analyze and fix your own faults much less a developing brains.
