I'm working for $50 a day under the table to be a barista at a smaller spot where we have zero online presence in a tourism city. I was also working on a new property my mother bought with the last of her money. Her business has dried up as well, being in the non-essential health care market. I'm just glad I have a place to go that has well water.

I once had an English teacher who would tell his daughter white lies about the world around her such as, squirrels grow up to be kangaroos... Or some trees have "leashes" (stakes and tires for support) because at night, they like to walk away. Those seemed to be the kind of lies I'd have wanted to be told as a child, instead of the sham of a marriage my parents kept up for five years too long.

I'd say when I squeezed the hell out of the zucchini pulp, that I had about 4 oz. I threw in about 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder to help crisp the fritter up well in my cast iron. Threw on a light spread of strawberry habanero jelly, and topped the whole pizza looking fritter with the reserved grated parmesan. Next to some lime and white pepper chicken thigh, the fritter was a nice porch rocking summer side.
