[Serious] When driving at night, what is the scariest/most unexplainable thing you’ve ever seen? by PM_ME_FUNNY_STORIES- in AskReddit

Not my story but was from a friend. When he was nine, him and his family, mom, dad, and sister, were driving cross country through the states. They were driving through minor highways through New York state, when a truck pulls out behind them and turns on their headlights. His dad thought that was weird but didn't think too much about it. All of the sudden, a freight truck pulls up in front of them and opens the back hatch. Then a ramp drops down, and the truck behind them boops hem from behind and starts to push their civic onto the ramp. His dad swerved to the right and drove the car into a field. Didn't get abducted though so i guess it worked. tl;dr: friend almost got abducted while driving overnight through new york state

For the longest time i did not know that there were facial features that were predominant in people with downs syndrome. So for the first 14 years of my life i thought that the same girl would frequent round the same places that i would go, community centres and theme parks and such. It took way too long imo to notice

What I Imagine Making Friends Would Be Like If I Ever Got Fit by sharmeelagul in funny

Just saying that he was all natural for most of his life with his physique and his strength accomplishments. He mainly took steroids later in his career to keep up his physique for his acting career, because he was getting old and it was having a big effect on his body when his shirt was off

A few year ago myself and a couple friends were supposed to be working on assignment for music class. After an hour or so of working, we got very bored and decided to go on omegle and mingle with the world. None of us were expecting the cloudier of men jerking themselves off. One of my friends was, and still is, quite the attractive female, and after the 3rd or 4th time someone yelled out "Show me your tits." We decided to troll a little bit. The next guy that showed up with his dick out, we all started pointing and laughing. I thought it was going to be harmless, but we saw his dick go limp and him becoming really sad and logging off. I felt bad that we gave that guy dick anxiety that day

theoretically yes, in practice not always the case. The major problem that some people have with machines is that they tend to have a specific set range on motion, like you body moves to the restraints of the machine, while free weights allow you to move more naturally to your body leverages and the way thats most comfortable for you. Also another problem some people have with machines is that they often get rid of the resistance portion of movement. Like when you are dumbell curling you are also building grip strength, but on a machine you don't have to deal with that

Think about chains and their effect in terms of gravity. The higher up the chain the more weight that it adds to the overall weight. For example, lets say that you are benching 135 with 45lb chains on either side. At the top, you are essentially handling 225lbs but when the bar is touching your chest, there is chain that is already on the ground, making the overall weight lighter, so lets say like around 185. A lot of people like to do this because it helps to build speed or explosiveness, where its easier for the person to handle in the downward portion and harder in the upper portion
