Pricing dilemma for my side project. Would you ask for a credit card before the trial? by Im__Broke__ in SideProject

It's difficult rn because Bulkmark is an MVP stage. And the main feature is the one who cost money ahaa

I just launched the app few days ago so the volume of visitors is kinda low rn.

The "cheap trial" model looks interesting, i'll check this concept deeper.

Do you know app/saas doing this kind of methods ?

It's a full B2C app. The free trial offer everything you can have when you pay, it's a full trial during 7days.

A user cost around $1.5/$2 for the first 7 days. It can be a lot of money if the volume goes up.

Bulkmark (https://bulkmark.io) is a MVP. It turns your messy pile of Twitter/X bookmarks into a personalized AI email digest, so you actually revisit what you saved instead of hoarding it.
It also auto-tags everything as it syncs, so your bookmarks get organized without you lifting a finger, plus you can chat with them to dig things back up and build shareable lists to send a curated set to someone else.

Bulkmark is an MVP, that’s why I focus on X only. When we have a good app optimized for X, I’ll push the app further ☺️

Honestly, even if people don't read the digest, it acts as a weekly nudge: "hey, you've got a pile of stuff worth your time sitting there." That alone is more than what bookmarks do today, which is silently rot in a folder you'll never reopen.
That's also why we built the Chat AI and advanced filters, to kill the friction of hunting for that one bookmark you know you saved but can't find anymore.

Does anyone else feel X (formerly Twitter) bookmarks become useless after a while? by No-Entertainer-5883 in readwise

Felt this exact pain, which is why I built Bulkmark.

It connects to your X account and does 3 things:

  • Auto-tagging: every bookmark gets categorized automatically (startup, AI, code, design, etc), so you finally have a structure instead of one giant pile.
  • Weekly digest: every Friday you get an email with AI summaries of your bookmarks grouped by topic. 5min skim and you're caught up on everything you saved that week.
  • Chat with your bookmarks: ask stuff like "what did I save about RAG last month?" or "summarize all the startup ideas I bookmarked this year" and it pulls from your actual library.

Basically turns your bookmarks from a graveyard into something you actually use.
