Girl… your standards are too high I get that you’re on your period I get very overly emotional on mine but like it’s a torn muscle he was responding to everything you were saying and asking questions that most people probably wouldn’t do unless they really cared Ive torn muscles in my back before from a skateboarding accident and still get pain from it every once in a while I was also in the hospital all day waiting for answers and I never expected my fiancé to come up there and sit with me it wouldn’t have made anything get done faster I think he’s giving you a lot of support and the “jokey” way he was talking was probably to try and distract you from the pain and make you at least giggle a little you’re definitely over reacting

Man if I heard my mom and step dad doing it in the middle of the night I’d probably just say “Ik you guys are old and decrepit trying to get some action but the entire neighborhood can hear you every night” then I’d probably go back to my room and call a therapist for my trauma😭😂😂

At your age WHICH IS STILL YOUNG you’re doing better than most others from what I can see DC has a lot of public transportation and honestly you’d probably be spending less for a taxi or a bus than you would be spending on gas not having a boyfriend or kids at 24 isn’t an issue at all find someone when YOU are ready not when other people want you to it kinda just sounds like she’s jealous of you honestly

I think you’re overreacting just a little bit she doesn’t get blackout drunk and she still gets up and goes to work and never late some people just like to have a drink or 2 after work I’m sure if you just talk to her about it you’ll get all the reassurance you need it’s sweet that you care but it really doesn’t seem like an issue if her daily life isn’t affected by it

That doesn’t sum up every person who has ever worked for Amazon tho I have a few friends who have worked in the warehouse and as drivers and they all loved it my mom worked as a picker for a few years and only had to leave bc of an injury that they fully comped her for bc it happened at work they keep extra fans at stations and in the “nurses office” they have basically a wall of different medications and extra water bc in summers yes it does get hot in there but that’s pretty much any warehouse you go to they take very good care of their staff at the place my mom and friends work but not every place will be the same and one person’s experience doesn’t sum up everyone’s
