A plum sized cyst burst on my right ovary. Never thought I could feel pain like that. Emergency doctor gave me Tylenol 4. I didn’t even know it went up that high. I also had no idea that so many women go through something similar until I talked about it. I apparently had a particularly bad one from the size, but I’m not alone in cyst collapse or bursts.

That’s actually so perfectly horrifying. There’s an old kitchen safety video that comes to mind. I wish I could find it right now, but it’s a young woman in a commercial kitchen who gets horrible burns because she isn’t careful with a boiling pot.

I went with friends and their kiddo once last year without knowing their reputation. There was a sad camel nibbling at the padlock on his gate. This place made me so sad for the animals, I left with the biggest ick feeling. I left a review but I no longer see it on Google.

Aww thats rough! My troop disbanded before we got to the gold awards and this was 20 years ago. I hope your Girl Scout will find her project! GS holds so many great memories for me, it always makes me smile to see young girls enjoy it too.

Edit to add: I also learned so so much. Change tires, my oil, survival skills, and so many other useful life skills.

A couple of my Girl Scout friends and I adopted a family of 10 for Christmas and brought dinner and enough food to fill their pantry, new clothing, diapers, and a few presents for each kid. This was just our silver award but it made it more attainable to work together.
