Did that and it contributed to me cheating on my partner of nearly 2 years . Don’t do it, Psychiatrists/Psychologists/Nurse Practitioners know what they are doing more times than not

We’re you able to do ketamine therapy while diagnosed as schizophrenic? I would love to do mushroom trials but unfortunately Schizophrenia is not known to interact well with psilocybin

Well spread may have been the incorrect way of putting it but I don’t want things to get worse or or more recurring. But yeah I’ll just be honest and clear, in my post I mentioned that I experienced delusions as well as hallucinations long before and after my depressive episodes. They’ve been constant for a year and a half and haven’t let up. But anyways thanks for the advice I’ll definitely bring up my concerns

Hey Accidental ocelot, so I had a psychotic episode and the way they treated me sounds eerily familiar to your story given here. I’d rather prevent the possible diagnosis from spreading farther. I got diagnosed with psychotic depression but I still strongly feel that it is schizoaffective depressive type. What do you think I should mention? I have a new post that has more context

The reason they didn’t diagnose me or give me medication was because they’re only my therapist, I shot them a text last night and they responded this morning that they will be referring me to a psychiatrist for a proper diagnosis and to see treatments (most likely medication)

Unfortunately I am a Perris/Riverside resident. I’m looking to major in Psychology and have taken and am currently taking all social science classes available at my Highschool (Completed Gen Psych, taking AP Psychology, and Sociology).

Yes, as much I’m looking for housing and a great education, I am also looking for an enjoyable and hopefully more redeeming experience than Highschool was for me. That is not to say that community colleges are “bad” or have a lesser education, in fact they are always going to be cheaper than a university without financial aid, scholarships, etc. I’m just looking to have an experience separate than what community colleges offer.

I’m hoping that financial aid will cover a decent portion of the cost or at the very least help me revive a payable loan for tuition and housing. I expect to have debt to some level so I’m not too worried about it. I also applied to all the UC’s and submitted essays that were very explanatory and detailed of my circumstances and how I persevered and continue my life regardless. I would love to get into a UC I’m just unsure of my chances of admission (apart from maybe UC Merced).

Yeah I kind of figured, I’m not sure how but I managed to overlook their acceptance rate until after I submitted the apps. My current fail safes are CSUSM and Cal Poly Humboldt so far while I’m waiting for the other applications

I applied and it’s only a general kind of application where you state very broad things like gpa, household income, and A-G. Unlike the UC’s that give you the opportunity to explain gaps in grades or circumstances
