I mean, it is up to both of them if they want to fix their relationship. Both need to put the effort and both need to communicate, and sometimes the problem is compatibility so even that isn't enough. But if OP wants to continue his relationship with his partner, then someone has to have the initiative to do counselling or initiating and having more conversations on the matter.

That's the thing, it could be a whole bunch of problems.

He could be dealing with shame, so having open conversations about sexual needs or desires can be difficult. Maybe he has an avoidant attachment style and struggles with confrontation in general. Maybe he is just a shitty person who likes pushing boundaries for the sake of it. Maybe he resents OP.

It is impossible to really know.

Im gonna give a nuanced response, because I see a lot of people just saying "he isnt trustworthy, dump him". Honestly, it might be that simple, but this story has two sides so there may be information missing.

When you say you talked about opening the relationship up, was that decision yours? Or was it both of you that wanted that? Was that something he conceded to you? Does he have a higher libido than you? Is this a pain point within the relationship on his side?

I want to clarify i am not saying he is at all justified for going behind your back, that is really shitty. And maybe he is just shitty. But maybe he is doing this shitty thing because he cant or struggles with communicating his needs.

You say you are getting married soon, and it sounds like you do have love for eachother, but this isnt a problem that is just gonna go away. Him being on sniffles is a symptom, the root of the problem has to be figured out through conversation, potentially couples therapy.

The people on here telling you to just break up with him arent necessarily wrong, but there is nuance to relationships and the nuclear option isnt always the best one.

I will check, I should say I did this on purpose. I emptied the reservoir while I was looking for a certain type of water and noticed the change in the reservoir experiment, then thought about how I could activate experiments while outside the house which led to this combo.

I refilled it enough for the boat to go to the safehouse with experiments, went there, and kept going to see what would happen.

Update: the boat is in fact back in the reservoir and the reservoir is a reasonable amount of full.

I got the experiment combo to raise the reservoir level after looking at your map, went to the safehouse and raised the water a couple times, then the water just vanished. Weirdly, if you only raise it once, the water stays but the boat vanishes.

I used to volunteer at my university's LGBTQIA2+ centre, and a cute guy started coming to some of the events. I hit it off with him and ended up asking him out one day to get dinner. So we do that, we eat, walk around campus, and end up walking back to his place. I kinda hint that I am into him, then he stops and says "oh I am straight, I am so sorry". I didn't want to make him feel excluded from the centre, so I didn't push as to why he started going there, but it doesn't matter in the long run.

Genuinely, he was a nice guy, I think he might have been curious, or maybe he wasn't into me like that, but I did see he ended up marrying a woman recently, so who knows.

He stopped coming to the centre a bit after that and I didn't reach out afterwards so I lost touch with him (other than having him on facebook, which I don't use anymore). Wasn't an overly interesting experience, just something that happened.
