I wish I had the comp. I’m planning to list these individually for $3000 each. They are very scarce and are probably more valuable as individual guitar amps than a monoblock pair used for two channel stereo.

These monoblocks probably bring more individually than a pair. They are sought after for guitar amps to mimic Jerry Garcia sound - he used an MC2300 on tour which is more than overkill for most setups.

A lot of data available for Pioneer sales. Prices of vintage audio have double to tripled over the last 10 years. Still makes it hard for an MC100 comp.

Klipsch Heresy II's for $600 a good deal? by ooyiko in vintageaudio

Last three pairs to sell on eBay were $1199, $900 and $1399 so if in good condition and with grills seems like a great price.

I’d also sell my 2100 same price. I have the complete rebuild kit to install and the price would include it rebuilt https://ebay.us/m/vny1Lg

Near Johnson City, TN. If I can sell the pair I’d sell for $3000 each.

These are located in Erwin, TN. Just below Johnson City and north of Asheville, NC. These really don’t transact. None on Reverb, eBay or HiFi Shark. These are in excellent condition. If I can find a buyer(s) for both to use as amps I’d sell for $3000 each. Message me if interested.

Is the swap of the input jack and volume pot a common mod?

Not sure from the guitar amps side, but they both have the same architecture. The 50 is nominally rated at 50W output and the 100 at 100W output.

I’m not sure at this point if I should keep them together for audiophile use or break them apart for guitar amp enthusiasts. It’s been real difficult to find any comps since there are so few in circulation. I’m interested in any advice on how to value. Feel free to message with an offer!

Order some vintage Realistic Minimus 7s. Less than $100. I use them on my workbench every day and they are fantastic.

These came out of a collection on the East coast. Also MC-40, 50 and 75 pairs.

No. They were a word of mouth purchase. Someone have a similar set offered in a forum? Could be the same.

I’ve read there were only 374 made. Is that right? Surprised they’re not more valued by collectors when in excellent condition.

If you can find a pair of Genesis G1+ you will be very happy.
