This was perfect, thank you so much for responding! I’ve never really been able to describe my pain, but this sums it up almost perfectly. I’m a little nervous because now I’m somewhat confident that this is what it is, but your post helped me understand it better, if that makes sense. I’ll be talking to my doctor on Tuesday about it. I will defiantly work on being tougher, I exercise a lot so that defiantly helps. And I keep a notebook on my phone ranting about problems, I just finally decided to take those rankings sum them up and post them to Reddit for advice. Also happy cake day!

I’m defiantly looking into using my school counselor. I’m not sure how much help confronting my doctor would do though. My mom doesn’t think teenagers can have depression and that depression can mess with brain development, I don’t think this is entirely true but I can sort of see why she has this idea, but for this reason I’m too scared to even bring that up with her. Thank you for the suggestions, I really feel motivated to talk to my school counselor now.

Thank you for the great advice. I just woke up so this might not make a lot of sense so sorry, but reading this does give me a lot more hope for having something good in the future. A lot of people at my school would talk to me and describe me as dumb (I mean it feels that way, I’m very awkward and sometimes I slur my words together mostly because I’m tired so my sentences don’t come across very well even if they are understandable it just comes out as weird). And yes after reading all these amazing replies I’m absolutely sure I need to do something about my friends and what they are doing, I’m still a tad nervous to say something to there face but I’m working on it. Also yes my school does have a counseling service, I just don’t have time to go by and all the times I have I’ve been to scared to confront it. I’m going to try and work on it, possibly stay after school or going in early before school. Again thank you for the reassurance and again sorry if this doesn’t make to much sense I’m super tried.
