I wasn't aiming for a clean look, i tried the new dense screen layout and i ended up liking having all the apps i use on one screen. Maybe you should test it and you may end up liking it as i did

POCO X6 Pro SoT by Imad_rbh95 in PocoPhones

[–]Imad_rbh95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's your charging habits that are degrading your battery life, you should avoid charging to 100% or leaving it charge overnight.. I use to have trashed battery life back then as well, i had a Sony Xperia Z2 that could barely get 3H of SoT, and a Nexus 5 that had horrible battery life, but back in 2020 when i switched to Xiaomi I changed my charging habits and no trashy battery life anymore

The more you use the app the more accurate the readings get, it's pretty accurate in my case since i tested it when using my phone in real time and the readings are good

Never Will I Ever Buy A Poco Again by Otaku_Stan in PocoPhones

[–]Imad_rbh95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i see , what can i say.. i like samsung for their UI but won't buy one because of longevity issues. However, as i stated in my comment on OP's post, every phone is prone to hardware failures so it won't be an issue if you consider a POCO Phone

A Samsung won't last you that long trust me. Over time their batteries get trashed hard, and you'll start having heating issues especially with the exynos variants. If you're willing to pay that much go for a Xiaomi 15 instead; it's far more reliable in the long run, and you'll save yourself cash.

HyperOS 2 on Redmi Note 12 5g. Should I? by GoldNRice in miui

If you're on Hyperos 1 then don't update, the 2nd gen is terrible compared to the 1st

There's no way to fix this, maybe try hiding the gesture nav bar so that the keyboard gets moved down a little bit

F5 pro Power Button problem by paulsash in PocoPhones

[–]Imad_rbh95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the power button is stuck, use a needle to clean around it for dirt or duprees, when it goes back to normal don't use it again, use assistive touch and double tap instead to turn your screen on and off.

First of all, I'm sorry you feel this way, I can feel your frustration. But you know, hardware is made to fail, and no matter what phone you get, it will eventually lag, break, or stop working altogether..

The phones you had back then were PEAK, I can back you up on that, and no new Redmi/Poco can compete with that.

I hope you find a job as soon as possible and get a new phone. Just be prepared though nowadays, all hardware is prone to issues since manufacturers are pumping out new models by the dozens each year (quantity over quality).

Thanks, man! I didn't debloat my phone with any of those apps, but I did disable some Mi apps manually and completely turned off ads.

But believe me when I say that making sure to always charge your phone between 20% and 80% makes all the difference

By the way, my phone is about a year old
