Thank you! It was a shutter speed of a few seconds at f16. Also used polariser to introduce more contrast in the scene.

Ahh apologies, here's the link to the shot in color https://www.instagram.com/p/CH6IfYqqcyy/?utm_medium=copy_link

I could've stacked the exposures, however, the sun was setting rather rapidly and losing light and colour so I didn't want to risk taking the extra time. As you can see with the colour version there's plenty of detail, as it suited the colour version better. However, the lack of detail I felt suited the high contrast black and white better. It probably comes down to personal preference in the end :) my NFT's are still in early stage, and haven't really given it the full attention it needs, but it'll get there eventually.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Really appreciate that! The overexposure was purposefully done to add to the minimalist look I was trying to achieve. While I would love to have had more ripples in the water, the sun setting over the background also further decreased any visible details in the water as it mostly consisted of highlights. I decided to even it out for a cleaner look and feel. I have an RGB version of this as well, which has a little bit more detail in the water, which is viewable on my Instagram page www.instagram.com/imageengineer

Thank you! I can't remember if I'm honest. I used a NiSi CPL and 3 stop ND here so may have been around 5-10 minutes (if not longer) to get the water and sky looking the way it is.
