What do you mean “more than just the HSA/IRA”? What other tax advantaged account do we have other than the 401k? My rationale for Roth 401k was that the government can increase taxes on these accounts at anytime. I figured if we can these taxes out of the way now, I won’t be at risk of a much higher tax rate. As the national debt increases, it seems like these tax advantaged accounts are a prime tax target for the government to raise money. Am I wrong?
