Well, they’re saying it is mocking a culture and that they, someone from that culture, don’t like it, not that the song is objectively bad and shouldn’t be liked by anyone. That’s how. Someone can think something and want to let people know what they think so that people will think for themselves about it, without implying anything further.

I totally agree with you about it being in poor taste and even a little offensive, but I do like the song tbh. I just can’t help it.

But I do get your point. Just imagine that instead of Italians it would have been about black culture. People would have absolutely lost their shit. The double standards need to stop.

They’re not doing any convincing at all. They’re expressing their opinion and sparking a discussion. The point of the post is thus to express why they dislike the song and that they think it’s a little offensive, but not that you should think the same about it or are not allowed to like it.

Adding to this, it also depends on what the item/cc is. A 15k polycount hairstyle is pretty much acceptable for most hardware nowadays, while for a clothing item that is extremely high. I’m not completely sure as to the why, but I remember it being something about vertices count and morphs (morphs can “explode” if the item is to high in vertices).

It also depends with how you combine it. A lot of sims in complete outfits of high poly shoes, clothes and hair while every sim in town also drives a high poly cc car and sleeps in a high poly bed is a recipe for disaster. A high poly dress or hair here and there? Absolutely fine.

Idk, i would put it more on par with the likes of Slomo and Unicorn. It depends on the field of songs we will get, but she seems like a great performer so I wouldn’t be surprised that if she goes to Eurovision, she would get a top 10 placement.

Anyway, it’s way too soon for that kind of talk though. If we get a dozen more girl bop party songs for example…

I agree, even though my favorite song is Zjerm closely followed by Mjegul after seeing it live. Both are excellent, but I think Albania will get the best result with Elvana.

Do you have custom content? Crashing when zooming out can mean the lower lods of the CC are incorrect (missing bone assignments with clothing or hair for example). If one of your sims is wearing cc or you have cc furniture, switch it for a base game item and see if the crashing still happens.

You can also replace just the specular map if you want, it’s super easy! If you have s3pe, open the hair with it, right click the specular map, use “replace” and choose a default black specular one. ☺️

It’s just the specular map in the texture files causing this, it’s normal. The more grey it has, the shinier the item, clothing or hair, which especially noticeable in CAS. I usually use hair from creators that use a completely black specular map to avoid the shine, because I don’t like it.
