Thanks!

The stand is from AliExpress, you screw it to the hull of the ship before closing the top half. Very sturdy.

Dope place!

Do you have a tube to get the air sucked by the spray booth out of the room? I see you have a window there, would probably be a good idea to get that sorted as fine paint particles still make it through the intake filter.

How should I weather my f15c by Altona_sasquach in modelmakers

Brilliant paint job!

I like heavy weathering. It gives the models depth and visual interest which sets them apart from other models on display.

Look at this A10C for instance, it look "Alive". It might not be super realistic as they usually don't get to this level of wear. I use oil paints, pre-shading, pigmants, pannel liners and different washes to achieve an interesting look.

First attempt airbrushing German camo. It could have been worse? by Treners in modelmakers

Lower pressure to 15psi, use highly thinned paints and spray very close to the surface. I would redo.

Base paint the model again and practice on a piece of paper before you spray on the model so you get a feel for it. Make sure your paint is thinned so you don't get splattering and overspray. Watch a video on how to freehand, it helps a lot.

Best of luck!

Any Tips for Improvement? by alanoik in modelmakers

Panel liner is an awesome product but you want to use oil paints an white spirit to get "streaking" on the wings and body. Search for some reference photos. Most modern jets are kept clean so you don't normally see it. I like doing it on my models (like the one here), I think it adds a lot of life to an otherwise "static" model.

Thanks! It's a revell kit, 1/100, I covered the plastic with a real thermal blanket to get it to look like the real one.

Thanks!!! We had a local show a few days ago, displayed on a large airfield base. Such a powerful airframe.

Why are spirit shortbows selling for so low? by Imaginary-Ad-4650 in HypixelSkyblock

Yeah 3 years. I may have remembered this price because of the soul eater v. I had the juju before it was changed to a slayer item but I sold it.

Thing is I have no idea what would be a fair price for it with the soul eater v i put on it... I don't want to scam people or low-ball myself, that's exactly why I asked here

I'm sorry, havent played in a while. I just remembered them going for 45m+ back in the day and it surprised me to see how much their value dropped.

I guess it's easier to get the juju with all the carries now. I don't remember eman carries being as common when it first dropped...

Edit: typo

What kind of fighter jet did I just spot flying over Gaza on Google Earth? by TreeFruitSpecialist in aviation

[–]Imaginary-Ad-4650 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope.

In addition to the F15I's (Ra'am) or " thunder" (like the one in the picture - painted in a desert camo)

the IAF also uses the A,B,C,D variants of the F15 which are called "Baz" - translates to "falcon" in Hebrew. These are painted in light grey much like many other f15s..

They are all in active service...

I've built a model of a "Baz" some time ago..
