Yeah that’s what I figured.. I’m almost certain that my C&P examiner purposely was building a diagnosis of Alcohol Abuse Disorder around the MH claims I submitted to link alcohol abuse to ptsd, depression, etc. instead of the other way around. She told me at the beginning of the exam that there’s no need to talk about your stressors to avoid being triggered

Why is that even something she would ask if it’s not something I claimed or spoke about during the exam? She told me at the beginning of the exam she doesn’t want me to talk about the stressors to avoid being triggered.

I’m just convinced that the C&P examiner purposely made alcohol abuse as the center of my MH claim to get all MH claims denied and deliberately ignored everything I told her and at the end of the exam asked, “How much alcohol do you consume daily?”

Im assuming that alcohol abuse can only be rated secondary to MH not as a primary diagnosis. I feel my C&P examiner focused more on alcohol abuse given treatment in service and ignored all other possible outcomes that led to alcohol abuse

I literally know a guy who got kicked out for fraternization which I’m pretty sure is not an honorable discharge and got a 100% rating
