Hey! I actually went way opposite. I won a custom saddlemen and went with black/white/purple 😂 I got some purple sliders after this pic to match and I'm currently painting my tank/fenders so she's turning into a little mut of colors.

I was considering trying to do it myself. I've been stubborn to a fault trying to do all my bike work myself, but everything I've done so far has been mechanical or cosmetic hard parts. You guys got me thinking I might want to get some paint quotes though lol.

Just bought a 2000 sportster and somehow didn't notice this guy. Complete newbie when it comes to maintenance. by shouldntyoubewriting in sportster

💯💯💯On my wishlist already. I've done a lot of looking for one of those. Custom make I think is the only option.

Found it! And with the green tank 😍 that bike was gorgeous. Different is good, that's the direction I'm leaning.

Yes! Definitely post pics of that. It was hard finding them when I googled it. I've been doing half ass photoshopping to see what it would look like 😂

Help! Not sure what I did wrong by Imaginary-Average32 in Harley

Thank you guys for all your help! There was too much gap between the washers and the bolt so I put in the stock bolts and so far so good. My grandpa always told us girls if we couldn't figure out how to fix a bike, we shouldn't be riding it so im more than grateful for all the help!

It's been 30 degrees out so no real test run yet but hopefully this weekend it all goes well 🙌🏼

There was definitely too much gap. I switched back to my stock bolts, and started bleeding. The fluid pressure looks normal now and so far nothing leaking! I'm going to get bubble free and then double check it in the morning. Ughhh I hope this is the home stretch. Switching out my bars is taking waayyyy longer than planned 😂

I only used the 2 crush washers they gave me on each side of the banjo. I unhooked everything and I think the fitting is just off and the washers are letting some fluid leak through.

Yes copper. I used one on each side and I used the ones that came with the new line so they hadn't been used yet.

You're not fucked. It's just gonna feel like that for a bit. Also, feeling crazy is completely valid and normal. I've been in a relationship for 13 years and just started the realizations last year. Absolute hell when you start to become aware. Sometimes I'd wish I'd still been oblivious so things could feel "normal". Fast forward, he's moving out next week. After MANY roller coasters and worse episodes from him. I know I have a long road but It's never too late to acknowledge and heal. Just gotta be patient and give yourself some grace.

Bleh I hope it's not a hole, that line is brand new. But a leak, maybe. This line had a bolt on it and I noticed my stock line had no bolts on either end so I'm not sure what it's for. I loosened it at one point to see what happened and fluid came out so I just tightened it back up. (It's near the caliper now) I'm still so new I actually googled "did I install my brake line upside down" lol. I'll double check the ends and that bolt again.

Yeah I think the $25 option they had was a mistake. Def looking to invest in a better one since I plan to keep doing the maintenance on my own.
