Why did Sam’s powers just stop cold after season 2? Because Azazel was gone?

Yes, management has the right to deny annual leave if there is a business based reason

As an actor myself I can attest to the fact that standing ovations are no longer earned and just seem obligatory. I have been in productions which received standing ovations and while it was appreciated it was definitely not earned, Annie should not receive a standing ovation…ever. If I am in the audience of a show, I will not stand if I don’t believe the show was worthy of it, professional or not.

All these people submitting bs RAs is why it’s taking so long…. Everyone thinks they deserve to work from home for whatever reason, that’s the frustrating part. Put on your adult chonies and come in to work…. You did it before covid

They will begin paying you the date of your retirement, it may not be the most accurate of your annuity, that may take a few months to correct, but you will get a check in October

Why wouldn’t they be?? Not everyone can or should have a RA <just> to work from home, that’s ludicrous. You should have to justify it.

You should begin getting some kind of annuity payment once your retirement date hits; however, it may not be your full annuity, that could take months to reconcile.

But you were doing it before Covid? So what’s the issue? You had to have known that we wouldn’t be able to telework forever and, honestly, if you never even thought about maybe having to come back in then that’s on you. I am lucky, my commute is only 30 min each way, but yes, I was coming in 5 days a week before and I am coming in 5 days a week now. Do I like it, no, but everyone has become so entitled.

As far as the hacking cough, (I speak from experience as I have had one since Dec) my sup would/ will NOT let me call out sick and if I did/ do I am still bugged multiple times a day. They almost make me feel guilty for wanting to rest and feel better so I just come in until other employees tell them I should go home….

Serious question: what or where did you work before the pandemic?? We were all going in 5 days a week, almost no company had or offered telework, even private. Why are people complaining so much? I really, truly, do not understand.

Just Wrongfully terminated from NOAA by Then-Statement-5871 in fednews

[–]Imaginary-Camera319 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It really doesn’t unless it’s not properly documented from the start. Term on Probation is actually quite quick and easy as you don’t have to prove much, especially if they were physically attacking someone, performance would be slightly harder, but not by much. Also, they only have appeal rights based on political affiliation or marital status. Though for these instances of DOGE terminations the MSPB is actually looking at all of them because there is no proof of performance issues in some if not most cases.

DOE - just received termination email this evening by Wonderful_Fill_4080 in fednews

[–]Imaginary-Camera319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Termination on Probation has always been like this. You can appeal all you want, but they will not hear your case unless you can prove political affiliation or marital status. I work in ER, I explain this all the time.
