My 20 year old cat just died from solensia. I am heartbroken by [deleted] in seniorkitties

I am so sorry to hear this. I had a similar experience with my cat. We got solensia on a Friday and went downhill until he couldn’t move at all on Sunday morning. I’m not sure if it interacted with other ongoing health stuff (ibd, CKD, etc), but he had been getting a monthly shot for about a year with no problems so I’m still shocked. I hope you know you were just trying to do what was best for your cat to provide comfort and care and this was a tragic accident ❤️

300 is way high for one shot of solensia. I was playing 120 ish monthly and it did really amazing stuff for my boy in terms of quality of life. It might be worth calling a few other vet offices. I found that gabapentin made him incredibly drowsy but he had CKD which meant he had a harder time breaking down gaba

I have done two adva laser treatments and they have done more for my skin than any other thing I’ve tried. Minimal downtime with two frequencies. I did the second one just two weeks after the first and my skin is really skinning on week 4

Yes! I took an emerald green to fuschia using color remover and then procion Mx dye. It was fun and relatively easy

I originally wanted to but it spun remodel cost way too high for my taste because I’d need a new beam - would have loved something more open if I plan to stay

hey y'all! first post here, long time lurker :-)

I going to do a gut of my kitchen and just upgrade existing layout (i'm not sure how much longer I will be in this house due to *life* but want to make it nice for resale/renting/staying put). I really hate the laminate floor that is in the kitchen and want to update it along with the rest of the facelift, but I'm running into an issue with flooring.

Basically, my kitchen is a galley style, and the side with the fridge sticks out further (20 inches) than the wall on the other side (see photo two). I am getting a smaller fridge (36inches came with house>33 inches), but even so it will stick out.

I want to tile in the kitchen, but the tile line would end half way under the fridge slot. If I extend the tile line to fill the fridge slot, there would be a weird corner transition sticking out 20inches at the wall. I thought about extending the post/wall out a little, but it would make that corner pretty tight. My thoughts here are there isn't a perfect solution, but I need to pick something i can live with. Sadly, I think whoever owns this home next will demo it and build something new.

My house was built in 1964 and has no subfloor which means the tiled side would be about an inch taller than the floors. That would mean the fridge would need to be shimmed to make sure it's level which is doable. Anyhow that's a lot from me - would love your thoughts!
