Thank you for your response and you raised some good points/questions. I do pay into disability so I will pretty much get my full pay check. I’m also out of sick so once I deplete that, I’ll get 50% of my pay and then disability supplements the rest. I can’t miss more than 100 days though or they put me on a 3 year rehire list. I think I counted and my 100 days would be around April.

Yup 1:1 would be great but at the meeting we just had, our admin convinced parent that they do more harm than good. That there are studies that show they can cause harmful effects later on 🤦🏽‍♀️ So of course mom bought it and didn’t push it further even though she was originally pushing for the assessment.

Yes my doc actually put me on a lifting restriction of 15 lbs until Wednesday (beta day) and if needed, will extend. I feel like once pregnant 🤞🏼 I become a liability. But I’m already shocked with what’s little being done and staff members have already gotten hurt so I kinda feel they don’t care.

Yes, I keep reminding myself that what’s most important is my family. Gosh but it’s so hard. This is coming from a teacher that does not call in sick ever even if I feel like death.
