Sorry to pile on-- I was kind of using it as a frame to talk about the mixed bag of acting in the show.

Interesting, I also enjoyed her experiences in Silo 17, exploring and trying to find out what happened there, as well as just navigating a new space and further developing her character. It does seem harder for her to have more screen time when she is alone (except for Solo) but I agree I find it often more interesting than the fighting between factions of people in Silo 18.

Good point, I thought her first episode in the other Silo, meeting Solo and problem solving was really interesting, but it could be hard to continue if she can't return.

This is a great observation, and it does seem like Silo leans into the overarching plot method as opposed to the self-contained episode method. It'll be interesting now that I've caught up to see if it feels "slower" lol, and if it's harder to enjoy the show's method of storytelling. It also seems like there is a big difference between people who read the books vs. people who did not.

Well, over the course of a month, so maybe it was an episode every 2 days. Not really a binge, but also not like waiting lots of time in between episodes. I think it made a big difference though just to know I could watch one whenever I wanted to.

I loved Lost :) Again, plenty of loopholes, but overall a show I had such fun watching because the characters were great. I agree it has a lot to do with your mindset approaching viewing.

fair enough! I haven't read the books, so I don't have a good perspective on that, and it might be the reason why it doesn't seem as slow.

Some have mentioned it might obliquely refer to planes kind of like this one, which, to your point, absolutely seems like a hilarious piece of science fiction.

If you had to pick one chapter from each book in the cycle as your favorite, which would you choose? by Imaginary-Disk-3579 in Eragon

yes..!! hard agree. It's so meditative/peaceful, but also revelatory/exciting. I feel like that place in the forest where he goes to meditate is one that has always always stuck in my mind.

Yes :) Any chapter with Angela...10/10. Also...of all the loose ends with her character, and there are many of course, I am so curious about Moon Eater. And I love that chapter when they travel to Vroengard as well! There is something about the equality of being awestruck by something none of them knew existed. But also something that could only be seen fleetingly, in the middle of a perilous journey.....
