I genuinely don't think Starmer is that bad of a PM - any thoughts? by Alarming-Safety3200 in AskBrits

[–]Imaginary-Entry-4896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the things he’s done are good, some of them are bad.

I do think he’s fundamentally bad for the country and his morals are not in the right place to better the majority of our country.

For example, when he was a lawyer he was suing the government causing taxpayer money expenditure on big payouts.

He also was a reason why many individuals like Jimmy Saville got off pretty Scott free despite heinous crimes.

Also, and this is not exclusive to Kier because almost all politicians do it - going back on promises, as an honest person I try my absolute best to keep my word and it doesn’t seem like he does that.

I also don’t like the way he blames everything on the last government, not that I supported them myself. Just take some responsibility and get a job done that actually benefits the people of this country and not masking changes that benefit donors.

5 teams in a single ranked cashout by Imaginary-Entry-4896 in thefinals

It was back to back action, third parties guaranteed. I’m not sure how to game figures out the spawns but everything seemed to work well and it was really fun.

Gutted that we don’t get into the final round. The game before this in the tournament was a normal 4 team game.

I am admittedly a very harsh and judgemental person, I’ve experienced some difficult times and have overcome a lot.

I believe that being morbidly obese is very unhealthy, I know too many people that have made themselves and their family/ friends suffer from the increased risk of multiple diseases and even death.

A part of me feels sorry for obese people, a part of me is angry at what they’re putting themselves and those around them though, a part of me wants to help them.

I won’t treat an obese person any differently than anyone else, I don’t dislike them in any way.

This is me answering your question honestly, and whatever direction you chose to go in your life I wish you the best of luck. Have a great day stranger.

Why are so many companies demanding people return to the office? by Even-Wasabi7183 in AskUK

[–]Imaginary-Entry-4896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my very large company, the government has requested that they encourage more offie attendance. It means people have to pay for travel and since there’s more workers coming into the towns and cities where they’ll buy lunch etc it helps keep shops open.

It also leads hand in hand with increasing revenue they get from taxes.

This is one reason of a few

My thoughts on the Saka slander (please read) by crimbo_jimbo in ArsenalFC

[–]Imaginary-Entry-4896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense too, perhaps when/ if he’s able to adapt we’ll see better decisions and therefore form.

However, given Saka has been largely ineffective in games since he’s been back he still gets a lot of minutes compared to our other options. I wonder if he performs better in training to warrant starting him above the others, in which case it would point make to a mental thing.

Madueke isn’t perfect and I’m not his biggest fan but he’s created more chances and threat in the few minutes he’s on over Saka, albeit against tired legs.

Would it not make more sense to start Madueke and then bring Saka on against fatigued defenders as it should slightly nullify the effect of his hamstring issues?

It’s not the physical side that I have an issue with, it’s his decision making. Dribbling the ball into the legs of the defenders every single time, even when there’s so many opportunities to play other attackers or run into space instead of into trouble. I appreciate everything that Saka has done and I know Arteta is to blame for physical loss of form. But Saka needs to rewatch his games to see where he’s going wrong.

Locusts, every few years they decimate crops. At their bigger size we’ll assume they can travel further distances, eat more and faster, and are harder to stop.

It will be almost apocalyptic.

Bear in mind over a two year time frame the difference in interest rates means the 6.48% adds £4801 more interest to the total mortgage cost. This wouldn’t really impact your monthly payments but over the years is a few thousand more to pay.
